Matterhorn at Disneyland - the world's FIRST steel roller coaster!

Matterhorn at Disneyland in Anaheim was the world's first steel roller coaster with round tubes, as it is still known today. The ride, or rather the two rides, are still in operation today and are still unique fun machines thanks to the careful maintenance by Disney. Wobei ich seit der Veröffentlichung des Videos auch bereits darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass das mit den Rundrohren auch nicht ganz korrekt ist. Es gab wohl schon andere Anlagen in Asien und Europa, die aber nicht so bekannt sind. Daher sieht sich Disney als Erfinder der ersten Stahlachterbahn ... 🤷‍♂
