Serving is one of the way to annihilate your ego. And ego is the obstruction in devotion and full dedication in any devotee path.

I like your reasoning style. Would you mind doing a podcast about advaita vedanta (especially through shankaracharya teachings). I know you are a Vaishnava and advaita vedanta might not be your strength. How about bringing a expert or just having a healthy debate? like the one you did on Islam and Christianity with Mayuran

Thank you both. The status we have with Guruji is simply being loved by Him. To be loved in all the extremely tough and overwhelmingly dear ways. All the while transforming us if we are willing.
Status with Guruji is never a seva position. Even the Bhakti Marga STC devotee said it on this podcast as well.

🌟 It is God who is serving all the time, behind the scenes of the human temple.
God serves without wanting anything in return, like a mother who spoils her children. The mother just wants her children to be well.
God it's pure love, and it's very patient and playful. 😊
    ❤️

Lol born in 2000 I'm pretty sure 22 years later I met Guruji in Germany. I see Guruji and my dad as my fathers. My dad is liking Gurujis youtube videos too and he's older than gurudev!

Maybe Guruji will give us challenges until the point we are ready to realize the truth and darshan helps with the layers of ignorance. Sometimes we think one darshan is going to be the end all to our problems. Not so easy right? Guruji looks beautiful and gracious and he is! But are we at the level of receptivity? A rusty piece of metal cannot conduct electricity. I'm personally still rusty and I see that I can clean up a lot of rusty samskaras

To me it will be always interesting how comes that in bhakti yoga the guru is more than Krishna. In christianity it would be impossible that a priest is more than Jesus or God.They are teachers about God. So no priest is served,God or Jesus is served.Or in buddhism it would be impossible that a monk is served by a person cause it must go on it's own way to finding Buddha even if it learns from monks. So bhakti yoga is a bit different because of that,I could never serve a guru. And I don't think Krishna can come to our lives only through a guru,it comes anyway if we let it in.I know it cause God came into my life but gurus were nowhere around, nor in my family. But I like this channel and other bhakti yoga channel because of the knowledge, bhaktis know much.Hare Krishna ❤

I understand the importance of SINCERE GENUINE Gurus and the deep respect a student has for his or her Guru. But the Guru is still a human being , not a God. I don't understand why you treat your Guru with the ultimate loyalty, love, devotion. Also keep in mind you can have many Gurus, (& some may turn out fake and others are genuine). Yes take life advice and teachings from your Guru, but why are you so unquestioning and unwavering in your love for this Guru ?
I don't honestly get it - you adore him more than anything in life itself

A Satguru like Swami Vishwananda is a God realized master. He is the journey and also the destination. Those the Satguru has come for immediately or eventually recognize Him in their hearts as belonging to them. It's a home coming...winning the lottery of life! There's no one, nothing that is sweeter or higher.

@@LeandroMusician Frankly, I'm asking the question in the context given. I'm looking for you to explain. I may or may not meet your Guru. Also, I have met a lot of people in my life, some amazing, but that's it.

@sanjayshah7776 It comes from the personal experience we have with Paramahamsa Vishwananda. Whatever loyalty or dedication or devotion you might perceive in his devotees/disciples is just a small fraction of de dedication, loyalty, love and service that He continuously directs towards his devotees/disciples. He is an example of service and selflessness, to an extent that is not comprehensible by the mind. And seeing and experiencing such a living example, inspire us to go beyond our limitations and to try to reflect more such love and dedication, and helps to become the best version of ourselves.

@@carinaa5744 Do a detailed, well directed multi season documentary on your Guru. Honestly, IF he is that amazing a human being , then do a high quality documentary on this incredible human being .
Or is it that you are obsessed with him to the point of irrational thought . Frankly speaking , I don't know , but I am challenging you, in a way playing Devil's Advocate, to really question such unwavering loyalty to another human. I am born into Jainism and I have seen some Jains give up their entire wealth to lead an austere life with the aim of attaining Moksha. However, I question this too. I hope you understand the point I make ?
