Your sons are incredibly talented. The hand made memorial was beautiful incredible craftsmanship. As old school Bmx rider i enjoy watching ya son on ramps. Keep up good work.
Well done Robin a lot of your talent is on point and will stand the test of time and I think your uncle would be proud to have a nephew who has as much heart as you well done mate .
Just an idea. May be the Queen should be the family’s pool car when there’s is broken. I don’t think they would mind having to use it. 😂🤣😂 Best review on TH-cam. 👍👍👍
I can't believe people complain about Christian working on their cars, making them decide not too touch anyone else's car. The trouble they go to machining tools and all that. If something didn't work I'd just think I bought a faulty part. He is so thorough isn't he? The whole family are highly talented. Their videos are brilliant.
Im always in awe at the skill levels in your videos, but this week its Robin wins my admiration🙏. The way i usually find a noisey pulley is to give each one a squirt of wd40 in turn until the noise stops, brilliant content, many thanks.
I think it’s so awesome how you include your children and their interests. It might seem like small gestures but they’ll always remember how you included them.
Hi christian and vera.what a great episode.father and son working together.3rd time lucky, maybe the Mercedes will stay fixed now.a very fitting memorial😊😊😊
I subscribe for Landrover stuff but I am loving the mixed content, I love seeing problems solved and the engineering solutions and as for Robin, his creations are amazing! Thankyou for the entertainment evert Sunday Vera, Christian and your boys.
What a great video, your boys are so smart and talented. Great to see them picking up skills from their "Old Man". And thank you for sharing that intimate moment at the gravesite. Robin's cross is absolutely stunning.
Thank God Robin has a Mercedes, a while ago I asked if Vera could pronounce Mercedes as I like to hear the German pronunciation of it. Any way I was blessed with both of you saying Mercedes a number of times through out your video. Christian = 5 Vera = 4, = one happy viewer. Anyway just changed all the Discs and pads on my E Class wagon (all genuine Mercedes parts of course) and Otto is one happy car. Great content as usual and Robins fabricated Cross is absolutely a fantastic gesture to your Uncle, Vera. May he RIP 🙏🏻
Hard times when your crankshaft balancer in the kitchen is broken and you have to take it in to the office. You sure packed a lot into this episode guys, I had to watch it twice to fit it all into my tiny brain. That A-Class is a pretty interesting design, haven't seen that kind of idler carrier before. I am thoroughly entertained once again, thank you.
Oh no, no no. I have to keep and drive that car for a while, if not a year. We cannot flip cars, like fulltime TH-camrs. Our cars need to be daily drivers, that is why also cannot work on a Disco 1 or 2. We work very hard to afford our Land Rovers. 😌😀🙋♀️
@@Vera_and_Christian I forgot to mention the one and only FORD passenger car with the mighty V6 is/was made in Australia....... One day I will be back with a Range Rover...... One day?
Your family of talent are really amazing. You are an inspiration to me . Your videos gives me a boost especially with the LR Discovery .Hats off to your family
What a great video guys. You must have saved thousands (of euros) over the years, fixing your own cars. Also, great to see your new apprentice getting involved. Well done Robin.
🙂to Vera, I'm sorry to hear you lost your uncle. I know it was some time ago, but I'm sure publishing this video brought back some feelings and I hope you're okay. Robin, the memorial you made is stunning, beautiful, and very unique. Well done. Christian, your humour always brightens my weekend. One final thing...... I can't believe you have to remove the ECU to change an air filter. Mercedes have clearly gone mad!! Haha
I've never come across anyone else who has a bit of old coathanger wire in their in-car emergency toolkit; thought it was just me!! So useful! Just like the other week it was great to know I'm not the only one who takes the weights off wheels, and washes them, before taking them loose to the tyre shop, as I don't trust them to touch the car or even to take the weights off!!
At one time I thought about getting an MB B-Class as the next houndmobile. After watching what you guys had to do to change out a serpentine belt, the hound can continue to ride along in the old X5 that we have while we wait for a decent Disco3/4 to come along to replace it. Another perfect example of auto designers/engineers not being required to maintain their creations/designs in the real world.
Nice to see someone fitting discs properly and carefully taking time to thoroughly clean the hubs! Modern discs are machined down to less than 15 microns DTV so I find it frustrating seeing people fit them on rusty/dirty hubs!
That Cross for Vera's uncle's grave is truly beautiful. Robin you are an extremely talented young man. If that is of your own design, I feel you will be making some truly brilliant pieces of the Blacksmith's Art. Art worthy of a design gallery or a modern art museum. Very well done! Christian, what is the procedure to dispose of that Mercedes coolant? It must be a level four biological hazard!
All hazardous fluids are easily, and free of charge, disposed in Germany. There are once a months collection stations. We often show that in our videos when we go and dispose of any kind fluid out of vehicles. No need to dump them somewhere 👍👌🙋♀️
I can't wait until you buy another vehicle to git that engine into. 🙂Thank you for another great entertaining Sunday. See you all next week. Regards from Australia.
Another fabulous video, We all must take a moment to remember those on Rememberance Sunday no matter what nationality they may have been, such a wonderful memorial for Vera's uncle
It’s amazing that you all can actually do these things. I’m envious of your lift, but not having one saves me a lot of time. I think we all have had our share of ‘roadside repairs’. Glad yours went well! Looking forward to the winter?
The very best part of my Sunday for sure watching Vera and Christian working and also in this instance Robin as well...(it was his car after all). I totally agree with you as I never work on others cars, just as I do not let dealers work on mine. Thank you both once again for a very entertaining video...as usual your humor always makes by chuckle
Christian, ask Vera to buy you a mechanics stethoscope for Christmas. They work brilliantly and eliminate the guesswork on which bearing is noisy. When you have water pump, alternator, power steering pump, air con compressor and idler pulleys all spinning in very close proximity, its very difficuot to be sure which one or maybe two, are noisy. The mechanic stethoscope was a revelation when i first used one. Keep up the good work.
I used a big screwdriver this week for just that. I had to take the timing cover off firs to get to the suspect pulleys first, though. You've just reminded me to get the stethoscope.
Good evening Vera & Christian 😊 Your lad’s are so talented and the cross was beautiful 🤩 Robin making that brake shoe out of an old LR one was absolutely brilliant. I loved it. Take care until next week love Stevie 😍 xx 🏴
We started 2 years ago and replaced already most the suspension. Not sure if we made videos back then on our B-Class. But check out our videos starting September '22, that's when we bought it. 👍🙋♀️
Phillip is a circusartist, he knows how to fly! Great to see the final result of Robins piece of art. As a parent, you can only be proud of those two kids, they are great ☺ Removal of the engine and gearbox is a piece of cake apparantly? Done in recordtime. No need to practice any more...
What a truly beautiful memorial Robin made for Vera's uncle.... such a lovely thing to do and honour his memory ❣
Your sons are both phenomenally talented. I'm certain you are, and you very much should be, extremely proud of the men you have raised.
An amazing memorial created by a real craftsman. Very fitting to watch this on Remembrance Sunday as well!!
Robin, that is impressive. Thanks for sharing a personal moment with the world.
Fantastic water tank review so honest and factual
Great video. I love your honesty and integrity calling out manufacturers that produce crap. It helps stop your viewers being ripped off - thank you 🙏
I've never rated Front Runner. Always way too expensive for what it is.
Your boy is a credit to you, sensible hard-working and a great fabricator.
It was an emotional episode in my eyes. I really felt Robin done a master job on the memorial. Well done Robin. Excellent episode as always 😊
Your sons are incredibly talented. The hand made memorial was beautiful incredible craftsmanship. As old school Bmx rider i enjoy watching ya son on ramps. Keep up good work.
I really like Robin: he doesn't say much - first time we've heard him speak - but he lets his skill do the talking. Very eloquent too.
Sunday morning entertainment and swearing, excellent..
Well done Robin a lot of your talent is on point and will stand the test of time and I think your uncle would be proud to have a nephew who has as much heart as you well done mate .
"and we still have to buy the car" Classic comment, love it!
Talented family.
as a very happy Toyota owner, I really enjoy watching these videos
You both should be so proud of your very talented children .
We are🤗👍🙋♀️
What a fantastic work of art the iron cross a beautiful tribute to your uncle and a beautiful setting . Great video as usual Cristain and Vera 👍
Just an idea. May be the Queen should be the family’s pool car when there’s is broken. I don’t think they would mind having to use it. 😂🤣😂 Best review on TH-cam. 👍👍👍
😅Our insurance does not allow Robin to drive the Queen, or our Disco 4. I think until he is 20 or 21 . He can only drive cars up to 250 HP for now. 🫣
@ That’s what I tell my son and I’ve got a Defender 90 300tdi. 😉😂👍👍👍
The work Robin put into the cross,The intricacies,The depth of thought is truly mind blowing,Well done that man,Cheers folks TC
What a patience you have with the cars....specially with the Mercedes
Super job with the kids
Robin is a true craftsman. So nice to see such workmanship in these days of mass produced computer aided chineseum junk.
You have very clever family ,always good to have some talents in family to save some money
😊🙏🙋♀️
Excellent episode, all the family involved and all very skilled.
Another excellent video 👍🏻
And a great memorial tribute to Vera’s Uncle & cousin. 🙏
A very talented and creative Robin 👏🏻

Putting new brakes on a car is very satisfactory. Knowing that it is done for a long time.

so good to see a family working on cars together, today my daughter and i replaced the belts on her Hyundai.

When Robin spoke I almost fell off my chair, so unexpected.
Thanks. He can go a day long with only two words…

Good that you repeat no sponsors. And really appreciate you keep making these episodes for us. I keep enjoying, and learning too!
Modern life can’t happen without people like you , amazing approach to a problem . Love it !
Excellent recycling LR Time gang! An example to us all!lol!❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂
Love that cross! What a cool idea! Clearly he was loved.
I recommend Robin gets a Toyota Hilux. Then he can create parts for it in the forge.
"The family that plays together stays together".
There's plenty of family time to be had with that Mercedes 'B' class, I'd be thinking...
A good memorial Robin. made agood team effort on the car
Sunday morning is now complete. Watching you work is so inspiring. Greetings from the UK.
