Z fold4 hand down is better
Upgraded from my note 20 Ultra to Z fold 4. So far it's a game changer and absolutely love it. Such a different experience and not sure I can go back to a regular candy bar phone.
My phone exactly, and thinking about making the same change this christmas, any info you found rlevant? Any advice?
@@pedroluis8882 make the jump the camera is underrated. Just excellent experience overall and the battery life is great IMO. Grab S pen pro gives it the same ability to use it remotely as a clicker to snap pictures away from the phone. If you're curious about anything else just reply.

I'm noticing a lot of people complain about the crease. Which is understandable, somewhat. A lot of people who don't have the phone don't realize how seamless the experience actually is, and that you really don't notice the crease 99.9% of the time. I got the fold 4 and my experience has been out of this world
I just upgraded from the note 20 ultra to the fold 4 in beige........I'm totally in love. I used to be an iPhone girl, the last iPhone I had was iPhone 6 and then switched as they all looked the same just making the camera a bit better. I love how much stuff I can do on the fold at once. I don't think I'd ever go back to a regular phone.
Everyone had the note 20 ultra that traded that in for the fold 4 lol same here ahaha !! listen ima be real, I hadn't fall in deep love with a phone so bad as much as I did with the fold 4. Considering this is my first fold 💯🙏 and I'm telling you I will NOT EVER go back to a regular phone ever again !!!!! the customization and multi tasking with other amazing features with the camera ? ughhhh 😍😍 who wouldn't love this amazing phone lol

Great review! Coming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max, I was all set to get the iPhone 14 Pro Max this past weekend, but they were out of stock everywhere (ugh!). So, I decided to try out the Z Fold 4 for 2 weeks while I ordered my new iPhone, based on your awesome review... because why not? I'll play with it for 2 weeks, then just pay the $55 restocking fee when I turn it back in as I pick up my new iPhone 14 Pro Max. Easy peasy!
However, after using this amazing phone for the past 5 days, I can't go back. I've already cancelled my iPhone order. I even bought the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, based on your awesome review as well. I drank the Kool Aid, and I liked it! 😁

I did the same thing! I was completely in the apple eco system. I thought I wouldn't like the galaxy watch as much, but it's pretty nice. The fold 4 is 🔥 though, I won't be going back to Apple anytime soon.

@@bigdrews4360 Right now I'm loving it! Until you use the inside display, you just don't know how impressive it is. The one thing I'm missing though is messaging. Apple is killing the messaging game in my opinion. If I try to send a video it's always grainy no matter what I do. And for some reason the typing is not as smooth. Other than that the experience has been nice! I thought I would miss Apple, but I don't.
Yup. Z fold 4 is amazing! Totally useful and compact for business signing contracts, easy docs editing, multi-tasking etc. The day when apple has usbc will be the day that my 2nd phone will be an iphone. Fold series (business/daily driver) + iphone(outings/vacation) will be my perfect plan.
after putting it off for 4 generations. I was at the door for the release of the pixel 7 cause i never had one really wanted to check it out. somehow left with a fold 4. ive been having so much with it. the comments i get to when I pull it out are always fun. overall very pleased and excited to see with what Samsung will do next.
I’m really glad you made this video, for me the 14PM does it. I love the simplicity of the phone and don’t need all that customization. I’ve had the Motorola droid, s3, note 5, s7edge & Note 10+ so I’m no stranger to it. ❤

Which device holds your main sim that u use for calls texts etc?
I got both IP14PM and ZF4. As a tech guy, I prefer the ZF4 as I can use it to remote access Better than the IP. I also use the spen to get my client sign contract after installtion of hardwares. Man that ZF4 is soooo handy. I use the IP14PM as 2nd device, only for calling and texting. But the camera for me is better than the zf4. They both have their own advantage. I love having both 😁😁

So true. I choose the fold 4 cause I always wanted a bigger display to draw on and write on but I hated bow phones are becoming to big for pockets. So why not one device that plays 2 parts. Set up front display like my ohone and inner like a tablet
Till this day I still own my iPhone 2G. I just switched from my iPhone 12 pro max to the zfold 4. And I love this phone. I used to carry around my iPhone and my iPad to get both experiences and this phone does it all and the best thing about it is that it uses a usb c so that's only cable. If apple would of had ubc support on the iPhone 14 I probably would have stayed because that purple is very attractive but I am happy with my lavender fold 4 512gb. Super beast I'd say.

I switched from 13 Pro Max to Z Fold 4 for the same reason. Now I can get my business done on the go without having to carry my iPad with me. Bought a foldable keyboard too just for those edge cases when I need to type more on the go.
Powerhouse of a phone. I purchased the watch ⌚️ to compliment the phone but o font really find too much use out of the watch other then when I'm at work and I'm far from my phone.
I just got my fold (Monday) and I was super worried about the skinny front screen but I'm kinda in love with it...the phone Is pretty much one handabled. (One aspect of my note I disliked, it could get unwieldy at times and I had trouble typing. I thought I had to break it in but nope. Two long years of constant typos) . It also shows more content because it's tall.
But honestly this is probably personal. (I'm female, I'd say my hands are average with skinny fingers) some of my favourite phones to generally use in the past years has been Sony and Huawei. Which were only 5in screens and in Sony's case skinny. However I do prefer bigger screens. The fold in its current state basically hits both needs.

Great video bro! Question what are thoughts on esim vs physical SIM card? And again it comes down to preference and usability hands down.
Honestly so far my experience with eSIM hasn’t been bad I’ve switched it twice so far…and for obvious reasons for me (always switching phones for review) I liked physical sims for swapping phones easily but I’m not indifferent to eSIM either
I have the z fold 4 and got the pro. The pro had really small things that all mounted up. But the two main reasons were the dynamic island boy was further down and cuts into the video more, the always on (dim) display just couldn't gel with it. Also when you dismiss a notification the little red blob remains. I hate that. With my fold I can dismiss it altogether.
When I say two things I mean three lol
I find it tough to compare these two because they're so different, specs and such, notwithstanding. Good job, tho. Gotta go with fold because, ya know, innovation and pushing the limits of technology.
Love my ZF4 you barely notice the crease when you're using it directly or watching videos.. you only notice it when you are looking at it from an angle. The customization and the quality of this phone is awesome. I work heavy construction and use my phone on the daily with confidence.
At the end of your video, you forgot a few things of comparison. Ex#1 - You can have an apple PC or laptop and seamless sync with your iPhone, but Samsung can do exactly the same and more on a PC or Laptop using the My Phone app. And not to mention that with a compatible monitor, you may not even need a computer or laptop and use DEX, and yet Samsung supports network or direct USB type C storage connection, bluetooth keyboard and mouse, along with many other devices, and the experience is very similar to a desktop operating system, and again yet be able to continue to use your mobile device while DEX is being used. Ex#2 - while you can have an Apple TV (subscription needed), you can have various compatible devices within the Samsung seamless connection, such as an Amazon FireTV or Chromecast, that can do the same if not more than Apple TV, but also you can use Miracast for a mobile to TV screen experience. And there multiple other examples related to the Watch 4 and 5, but I leave it to someone else to provide. But overall, a magnificent video review. Keep it up champ! 🤗
Got the fold 4 I love it. Switched from a s21 ultra. I miss the wide desplay of my ultra but this is just something different.

I love the ZFold4 and Flip 3, battery life definitely a plus and the cameras. I have both device, they have a class of their own. We are bending a glass here so it's not really comparable to any regular phones. It's a way beyond compare.

I bought both. The iPhone is always a great phone, not really big upgrades, not really buying into the "dynamic island" that much but it's a solid polished phone. I have been dailying my Z Fold 4, love watching things on big screen, the multi tasking, cameras are ok. I am a smaller person at 5'5 140ish pounds, the phone is thick in the pocket, you won't forget it's there but it's not terribly uncomfortable unless I try to sit down with it in my pocket. The bigger gripe for me is trying to fire off a quick text from the front screen. I don't have sausage fingers but I find it pretty difficult to correctly type messages from the front screen. Other than that, the Fold 4 is a much more unique and engaging experience for me.
Try using Gboard I feel it's better than Samsung keyboard especially for swipe predictability.

@@hendog323 best thing about Gboard is that now you can have the full keyboard on the front screen but have a different layout on the inner screen (I use floating on inner). This was always possible in the Samsung keyboard but this wasn't possible initially on Gboard when the fold 3 first came out (both outer and inner screens had to have the same layout). It has since been updated and is now just the better option. I always hated Samsung keyboard even on other non folding phones so Gboard is usually the first app I install on any device including my iPhone.
Im really glad you made this video. But for me the fold 4 is better than the iPhone 14. But it depends on what you do with your phones I like to multi-task and basically use my phone like a mini lap top. I also edit videos and pictures on my phone so also having a phone that folds is definitely very cutting edge plus im not a fan of how apple likes to basically force you to use strictly apple products in order for them to work with their phones. Plus I enjoy the customization and all the different apps that I can get with my android phone.

Multitasking on the iphone got majorly improved so can't wait to test that out, love playing games, editing long videos, pictures, entertainment EVERYTHING
No lag at all like on my previous samsungs I'm sure because it's an iPhone
And I believe every company tries to get the users to get their own ecosystem so you just stay longer

Me personally I enjoy having a larger screen and being able to have multiple apps on my screen also the spen feature is great for me since I do edit videos and pictures also the dex feature is great too i can just hook this up to any monitor or tv and basically I have a mini laptop. Also being able to write notes on the large screen is a nice feature that I use often too. Watching videos and playing games on a larger screen is nuce too. Again it truly just depends on what you do with your phones.

So, I agree with your approach to this review. In the end, it depends. My wife used to have the S21 Ultra, but recently changed to the regular S22. Why? Well, having a huge phone that she could use single-handed was a huge plus by going to the smaller form factor. For me, it is quite the opposite.

I was multi tasking two apps that had to be open to download in split screen. Then I put both Amazon Kindle and text messages up as pop up apps. So I could drag open my Kindle book, stretch it out to read while my apps downloaded and I was able to hop over while texting my friend from the other pop up app bubble.

There is no better one, they both have their own purpose. I own both 14 pro max and Fold 4. I carries both in my pocket at the same time also.
I use iPhone for call, messaging, taking pictures, record videos because it's much easier to use than android thanks to iOS.
I use Fold for browsing websites, reading comics, play games and multimedia like watching movies.
They both have their strength and weaknesses. To simplify it, if your family and friend all use apple, go with apple; vice versa. But if I really have to pick one? I pick Fold 4 because it's a mobile tablet that fit in your pocket.
P.S. When I'm at home, I use iPad mini 6 for gaming because gaming on iOS much more smoother than Android.
Why not use a tablet seems redundant to not use a phone to call or text.

Me personally I like the bright vibrant colors on the z fold4. I have big hands and I love the internal display. Plus for the type of work I do it is very handy to read emails on the internal display. The fact that I can see the emails on the left side and get a preview or read the whole thing on the right side blows my mind. It's like using my PC in my hand. I have never used an iPhone before, but I absolutely love and respect this simplicity and consistency of their phone. But for my everyday use I like a phone that is totally me and can be customized to fit me in my personality. So far nothing has beat out a Samsung phone in that department. This is why I traded in my Samsung s21 ultra and upgraded to the z-fold and why I will stick with Samsung and only trade this phone in when the fold five comes out. I think you did a great job showing the differences between the two and comparing it.
I use my Iphone 14 Pro Max more than my Fold 4 because I like the my Watch Ultra better than my Watch 5 Pro. Airpods Pro Gen 2 and the Buds 2 Pro are a toss up for me. The positives and negatives of each phone weigh out to be about the same for my needs. The Fold 4 feels faster in everyday use which is funny since the 14 benches so much better.

Camera: I think it’s comes down to preference me personally I lean toward Apple because of the more natural colors as far as camera. BUT in Some photos I love Samsung more plus the s22 ultra is killer at that zoom playa!
Display: I always go to my z fold 4 because that hdr and and bells and whistles that the z fold 4 got vs the iPhone is KILLER.. IPhone has the nits but as far as color this Samsung display always win to me.
Battery life: my iPhone 14 pro max rarely dies but also my z fold 4 rarely dies also for me it’s a tit for tat because!! With the z fold 4 I just switch my screen to the regular resolution and down to 60hz and it saves just as much battery!
User experience: I personally use to think apple had the best User experience UNTIL I forgot that Samsung devices are customizable TO YOUR EXPERIENCE!! And you can make the phone HOW you want it! BUT the Apple ecosystem always wins I feel like Samsung split from being “android” and become its on OS and only then will they be able to BE THAT COMPANY like apple and put more direct optimization on the phones!

I have the xs max I use for all my apple entertainment and my z fold 3 for everyday carry. Love my huge inner display on my 3. Upgrading to the 4 when my trade in is ready

honestly, man. the battery life on my fold 3 doesn't bother me too much. what I'm getting out of this thing is worth the battery imo. apple doesn't innovate much between iterations of the iPhone but the fold is a major leap that I'm willing to part way with a long battery. my iPhone xr lasts longer but that's probably because I only use it for texting lol

I love the full array of the Z Fold 4, but not as convenient for me to hold or use in my everyday life. Plus I definitely would not like the extra weight of the Fold. As you said it all depends on your average daily usage. I'll happily stick to my S22 Ultra for now and look forward to future updates. This is an easy one for me. iphones had always been a boring device based on my experience and the way i use my phones; and the Ip14 MP seems to be the same story. I have the Fold 4 and flip 3 and they are a joy to use... hope the iP15 will bring in more exciting features; might switch if that happens.
Rear cameras have different focus points … so you get less blur on background from z fold … but less blur on the person in sight with I phone

I have the fold 4 and the 14 pro should be delivered today. I'ma keep rocking my fold as my primary and use the pro as a secondary. The iPhone is just a regular phone whereas the fold is really an all in one device.

@@galaxyrockstudio4813 wrong This thing sips battery it lasts a full day and then some with usually around 8-9 hours screen ontime. IPhone lasts longer but to me The fold 4 lasts a full day so the extra of Iphone is not that big a deal have to recharge each nightly.
Came from the iPhone 12 pro max....never going back. I don't worry about dust, I don't worry about breaking it, I don't worry about nothing because it's called being responsible with your phone. I LOVE this damn phone
But after a few months air bubbles will start to collect in the crease and the screen looks hideous. To pay that much for a phone with a crease no thanks

I was so close buying the ZF4 this year but I decided to wait until the ZF5 comes out, I think it will be a beast with the snapdragon gen+ 2. Plus if I pay this kind of money, I demand the best cameras Samsung makes on the phone.

But for me the fold is just to versatile so it's a easy win for me over any phone out .
I have everything set up around my zfold 4 to be a all in one device .
I have the spen pro to remotely take pics when the fold is in flex mode or sign documents ,take notes, have the shadow PC app to run PC games and pc programs on the unfolded screen , run Samsung Dex through AR glasses paired to a Bluetooth folding keyboard/mouse and Xbox controller , and 15w wireless charging powerbank all in a sling bag for gaming and work on the go . At home I run Dex through the Samsung m7 smart monitor and paired to a Bluetooth printer ,mouse and keyboard. Have a Nintendo switch emulator , and Xbox gamepass with a nancon mg-x gamepad for handheld gaming in case I don't want to use the AR glasses .

For me the versatility of the fold is actually the problem, you can’t use the fold if you do any kind of construction work or plumbing, basically if you’re a laborer you can’t use it.
@@CASTRO45ACP I mean that's your opinion I've seen people in construction with the fold they just buy a case with hinge protection to avoid dust getting in the hinge and the phone is water resistant so plumbing jobs aren't a issue.

Honestly they look almost identical...but both are nice. I do wish Samsung would've chose a gold stainless steel finish to compliment the geige even more in my opinion.

I love iOS no doubt it is better with app optimizations etc. for instance I am into mobile photograph no question mark that instagram experience on iOS devices are better but man this fold4 worth every single penny. already sold my iPad mini and only rocking with the z fold 4 1TB now...
We have the same two phones & the same two watches. Though I may sell my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Especially since the Apple 🍎 Watch Ultra may become my GOAT 🐐 of Smartwatches.
did you say that the Samsung fold is not dust free? i bought mine today the bundle pack with watch etc. opened it while i was watching your video but when you said about the dust then i stop there for a moment and then started putting all the items back in box. i was disappointed when i heard that

And if i can break this down a little more. I had iOS 16 on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. And now I have the 14 pro max. I really personally don’t feel a difference besides the camera and the “dynamic island” that me personally I don’t use. But Samsung always adds fun features and different innovative things that are over looked such as “Samsung Dex” literally turning your phone into a computer. They’ve been innovated over the years just never could sell it.
I decided to trade in my Note 20 Ultra and I have to say that the Fold actually feels smaller in my pocket
Phones are too wide nowadays, makes it harder to hold ; fold 4 is less wide so it feels smaller and it's easier to grip. I love it
I'm sure Apple will make changes to the AOD by updates, but yall are selling it short. It dims totally when it doesn't sense you around and when you flip it face down.
Apples AOD version is a very very bad copy of the original from Samsung.

i had My iphone ever since the 6s Dropped … Since Samsung introduced their foldable line up, It was a no brainer. Samsung fsho took the lead by a LANDSLIDE.
Nice video when I started with a phone it was samsung then smartphones became hot and I hooked on the S lineup when I went note well nice I was so in love with the gorgeous multi tasking machine and sad when it got faced out but threw my note 20 ultra at T-Mobile for an upgrade to the fold three in green and know I'm on the Z Fold 4 my user experience has been great the best ever I can't see myself going back to a single slab this phone took what the note does but makes it better and some more the Z Fold 4 doesn't disappoint its beast and hits the spot in my case you won't find yourself craving desperately for a tablet as you get both in one device plus add a S Pen case and you got a mini tablet ready to go only downside is samsung should make a skinny S pen same form factor and cilo it in the phone that would be great

I have both and I love both. My iPhone 14 pro max is my main phone and my fold 4 is my fun phone.

I had the fold 3 and gone back to iPhone most apps I use restart when switch between folded and unfolded and most apps are just designed for a brick size phone and the Samsung watches suck
The main problem I have with the Samsung z4 fold is the ridiculous price tag.
As someone who has both, Samsung is the best and simply the most fun to use. Once you have that multitasking its very hard to go without it

It’s not about team iPhone or android it’s about optimization and messaging others. What do we do most on our phone use apps go through our interface which phone is optimized is iPhone. In addition sending full quality video and photos = IPhone. I never understand why have amazing cameras on android if no one else can see it but you. Until android fixes these things iPhone will always be king. Android needs to stop adding features that don’t matter and focus on optimization and sending full quality content to others without weird links.
