My wife and I, both 70, have visited Mexico three times recently, and have been approved for Temporary Residency. I've fallen hard for the Xalapa/Coatepec area, but the Puebla area (and especially Tehuacan) is certainly on my list. I agree 100% about the pride, optimism and warmth of the Mexican people. Of their enviable public life in those lovely zocalos. I miss it terribly and can't wait to return.
You guys should visit Coscomatepec, Veracruz, is a Pueblo Mágico (Magic town) is so beautiful and is in this area call Altas montañas (High mountains) there is the main entrance to the biggest volcano in Mexico, El pico de Orizaba.

I spent 3 1/2 months last winter driving around central Mexico. I spent about 2 weeks in the Puebla city metro area. I like Puebla. You really have to go to the places they tend to stay around. You can find them in some smaller well known areas in certain places around Mexico and if you want to avoid them just don't go to those areas. They are easy to avoid if you are that concerned.
And obviously you're a part of the right wing neoliberal radical thieves and looters that can't loot the Country anymore because the majority of the Mexican people chose a change, so that explains your misguided comment bringing politics into a tourist focused channel!

Because Hollywood protects Mexico from gentrification 😂😂😂
@@txurbina
Well, there’s a ton of gentrification happening in Mexico.
So, they’re not doing a good job if that either…. lol
You mentioned you are waiting a year to apply for your RP. But with a Mexican wife you can apply for a Mexican citizenzhip right now if you want (if you know your history and culture and brush up on your Spanish).
You have a beautiful wife and that’s a beautiful family that you married into.
As beautiful as Las Mexicanas are, there is a saying, marry a Mexican you marry her entire family. Buena suerte!
In Mexico or South america or central america, i feel free there and its not complicated the life there and peoples very friendly. in Canada where i was born and raised, feel stressed and not feel free anymore. cannot go drink a beer on the plain d'abraham or on the streets anymore and too many sick mind peoples in Canada and need buy too many things etc
I understand! Canada does not feel free, safe or joyful anymore. A big part of the reason we left!
Have you visited central Mexico? It’s very cool here. Totally different vibe.
@ i was IT officer on a 67 meters american mega yacht and was 6 months in cabo and la paz in baja california sur. and 3 week in mexico city. i also visited acapulco. i had s gitlfriend from guardalaja but never been there. i think its central mexico
Cool! I haven’t been to baja or la Paz, did you like?
@ yes its nice. apple mega yacht go there often and dennis washington and many others. its the same rosds thsn in califormia usa
Quick question: are you learning Spanish already?
Si! I’ve been semi fluent for many years but really getting into it here. My husband and son are learning from scratch but picking up quickly. Immersion is very helpful!
@@realmxco This is great to know, hope you live a happy and fulfilling life here!
And if they dont, who cares!
Ora resulta, tsss!!!
It's very nice you guys really like but you need it to speak the language if you like to live in 🇲🇽 Mexico Español. 😊😊
Claro que si!
How can you make money while you live in Mexico?
I think my VW is made in Puebla.
Probably is! Which model?
@@realmxco a Taos. I know it was made in Mexico.
I will subcribe if you record on horizontal position for better look
It might be a better life for now but will it always that is the question. I'm not so sure.
It has been for decades, what would make it change? Mx is a pacifist country, do not support wars, currently enduring violence created by others outside the borders but will overcome it
Nice video, but investigate the pronunciation of Zócalo.
Great. And it’s pronounced ZO CO LO. Not ZocAlA.😊
Gracias! I have a hard time with that one. I’m pronouncing it like you would in Italian, I think!
Es ZÓCALO 😊

Canada is a liberal country and not the type of left we have in mexico ..unfortunately Canada or states of the america like California will try to bring wokisn and we do believe in god still, in family and tradition. Man a man women a women ... unfortunately these ppl will bring another mentality which isn't ours and morons will follow ..

Stop already she is saying that you can see the reminiscing of the times when Mexico was under the influence of the Spanish crown something that we the Mexicans we still have today , the old traditions and the new ones as well 🤔
And .......no narcos??.....just wondering 🤔......
Yes, on every corner! Dont come!!
Or...looking for a job?
You really have to go to the places they tend to stay around. You can find them in some smaller well known areas in certain places around Mexico and if you want to avoid them just don't go to those areas. They are easy to avoid if you are that concerned.
Sssshhhh. Did you know México is already the most overpopilated country in the continent
behind the u.s and Brazil in population.
@@reubenblanco3021 population over square kms. (rate) . Damn It THINK!!!!

go back, mexico is become venezuela very problematic politicans make this country a pseudo socilistic country...... lots of problems are began .
I would love to hear a more expanded opinion on this! Puedes escribir en español 🙏
And obviously you're a part of the right wing neoliberal radical thieves and looters that can't loot the Country anymore because the majority of the Mexican people chose a change, so that explains your misguided comment bringing politics into a tourist focused channel!
