pressure switch vacuum tube EASY FIX furnace error code

Vacuum tubes can sometimes get clogged with 'dirt', condensation leftovers and other debris. Just take a few moments to check if suction is where it should be- this can fix your error code.
Error codes for furnaces differ per unit but should be identifiable as with tagged on unit.
Using a drill bit, we improved the suction enough on this furnace's vacuum tube to clear the error code.
As an HVAC tech, you'll run into a lot of situations where a quick and easy fix will take care of the entire call within 5 minutes at times. Those are the good days!

Does that line bend inside or does it generally go straight in?
I was thinking I needed some special wire to work in there

Bad diagnosis. If this happens to you, it is because your furnace is under fired. An Under Fire furnace has flu gases that are cold. Which then causes condensation in the cool aluminum, or light Steel that that inducer motor housing is made out of. The condensation of the Furnace is lacking of hydrogen. This Means low ph, which is an acid. The acid chews away the metal and ends up in the pressure switch lines, or the pressure switch itself. You need to replace the pressure switch and the lines then bump the gas pressure so you are not having excess oxygen greater than 9%. If you do this you'll never have this problem. If you had your system installed and it is doing this you need to call the installers back and tell him to properly adjust the unit, replace the inducer motor, pressure switch lines, and the pressure switches. Because they did not set it up properly upon installation.
