If only the metal garurumon came with missiles firing like in the evolution or statue figurines; they always seem to miss that, but maybe it's because of all the small peices. I like the new ones box because it's more simple and doesn't force metal garurumon's image everywhere. I also like the new metal's colour for its metal, it feels more realistic with different colour shades, but the original is better for anime colour; like the claws. By the way I like the comparrison overlay (the dotted line and which figure's make) as it helps a lot to identify them easier. I hope it will return in future videos :)
They both look so similar I personally don't think it matters too much. I personally have the new one and I love it, but you could probably swap it for the old one and I'd likely never notice.
Both look the same with different color only, morelike SHF Metal Garurumon Designer's Edition is a repacked D-Arts Metal Garurumon with different color.

i recently bought the metalgarurumon US version. the sticker at the bottom part if a bit different thatn the japanese version the seller claimed. DO u know is this true? there are US and Jp versions?

I think I like the D-arts more. Feels more accurate to my childhood. Just my opinion.
