Raidramon looks leagues better than Flamedramon, hands down.

I was really surprised to see that the Raidramon mode looked better than Flamedramon; you would think it'd be the other way around, but it's not, and that's mind boggling to me. Either way, I would've loved if these where the toys we got in America; not only is it really unique for these types of toys, but they pulled off the transformations remarkably well!
What a great toy! Being a fan of raidramon I would love this. It's amazingly accurate for the engineering needed and quite cute. It's a shame I would have to get the flamedramon set to obtain the base veemon figure.
When I first saw Flamedramon I was kind of disappointed but when I saw Raidramon I regretted that disappointed feeling.
So Raidramon does look a little bit chibi-fied, but he looks vastly more accurate than Flamedramon. Maybe they had better proportions to work with thanks to the oblong shape of the egg or something, I don't know. He just looks better.

Wow I remember the US version of this line just packed the actual Digimon into the eggs. I always thought having them be actual armor would be awesome

I just realized Ive been watching your vids for 6 years now lmao. good stuff. I owned the American ver. of Raidramon back in the day but I strongly prefer this one.
I like the engineering in these toys. Its also very good that you can know which parts are which. Like the submarimon figure, the fins are sized correctly so that you can know which fin is the back or front.

Are you familiar with the American version wherein it is just the egg which transforms into the Armor form? Were they also released in Japan or Japan only got this?

The Digimental of Friendship always looked like a weird sneaker to me as a kid.
These are way better than the crappy versions we got here in the US.

In my opinion, i love Raidramon more then Flamedramon.
Not going to lie, I like the American version of this one better. I see the appeal of this line and I love it, but not needing the Veemon figure is a big bonus, and it allowed for some nice show accuracies with the neck and legs. Still a really cool toy though

I could only find the 4 base Armor digivolving figures and the Digi-egg of reliability on eBay, so no sign of the egg of friendship.
as so far you've only shown off veemon i've been wondering if you're going to show off the digimentals with the other digimon for example courage with hawkmon
***** Yes, that's because the set was made to emulate the anime where they never switched Digimentals. Veemon has 3, Hawkmon has 2, Armajimon has 2 and Patamon has 1. They are not designed to be swapped, like you can't get Allomon with Hawkmon and the Digimental of Courage. The mix-and-match feature is mainly a toy-only feature that allows you to come up with your own armor evolutions (with your imagination).

My US flamedramon to egg of courage is literally falling to pieces due to weak joints.
Sadly, it looks like they cancelled the Digivolving Spirits line...

Easily the best of the Veemon sets
I don't think the veemon line is bad per say. I just feel slightly bothered by Flamedramon's and Magnamon's chest area. The armor plates kinda feel misplaced but it doesn't look bad if look at it another way. This one is the better one. I give the veemon line 7.1/10.
Quite honestly, I'm really surprised how much better these sets can pull off Raidramon than Flamedramon; you'd think it would be the other way around, lol. Even still, I remember owning the American versions of these figures when I was a kid (I no longer have them), but I would have preferred these by a mile; the 02 line of digivolving toys in America was the weakest overall, and for some of reason, they actually realised the Digimon for the second digi eggs the group got (those being Raidramon, Submarimon, and Shurimon) first, which I don't understand.

the transformation is a bit more interesting than Magnamon and Flamedramon.
