Because the thing about Madonna is how she always re-invents herself on her tours. I did not see a reaction to Like a Prayer, I may be mistaken. One might have thought that conservative pro-lifers would have supported the decision made by Madonna's character in the song. But as that would make too much sense, they twisted it around to criticize her for supposedly "encouraging" teens to have sex. It seems to me more a cautionary tale reminding kids of the consequences and struggles they will face in such a situation. She did, of course, have legions of teen fans at the time...I was 15 myself. I believe when she sang this on her last tour, she altered the lyrics to say she was NOT keeping her baby.
It makes me chuckle how people judge everything now but people were creative and talented no cgi or rubbish back then The camera captured everything the dance the expressions, they did all the hard work. Nowadays no one can sing or dance its auto tune and special effects and can create anything such nonsense .
Nothing beats 80s 90s. Modern music and what people are listening to and doing now is all CRAP. These artists made history and are too big and mastermind talent. I remember this video once played on the curved digital screen on piccadilly circus london , I'll never forget that bro Epic tune ❤👌🏾
