    I grew up in Venice from 1953 thru late 1962...sadly, every time I visit, it is more crowded and more congested ... still call it home, but it not what it was, not much of the coastal areas of Florida are these days...

    • @LifeInVeniceFlorida
      @LifeInVeniceFlorida  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's definitely changing quickly. We've seen a fair amount of changes in just the 3-4 years we've known about the area.

    Casperson also known as a "meet up" place where men like to hook up with other men. A lot of people don't know that. Check out Sarasota County police reports.

    I'd love to live there if I could afford it. Just came from Florida (spent some time in Venice) back to Wisconsin... I'm so depressed! Ha. Need to sell my house and find a place. Sister/brother in law are in Bradenton (Del Webb, Lakewood Ranch) so would like a place not far from them.

    Venice vs Cape Coral?

    • @LifeInVeniceFlorida
      @LifeInVeniceFlorida  ปีที่แล้ว

      They're very different areas in a lot of regards. There's a few similarities, but outside of the typical "Florida pros and cons" and the fact that they're on the Gulf Coast and are good for boating, they're quite different and the reasons to pick one over the other are different in our opinion. Keep in mind we know the Venice area much better than Cape Coral, but we have spent some time there.
