Seeing the scene from inside Bilbo's hut with the dwarfes tossing all the tableware and cuttlery, being aware that they really did toss everything for the actual recording, I am once more highly impressed by the actors tenacity to get a scene done well.
I just want to say that the scene where they're throwing around and deflecting plates is absolutely one of the most badass things I've ever seen in cinematography.
7 years later and I find this gem. I not only have a reminder of my age but a reminder of a happy time when all my worries was "when is Bluexephos gonna post again." And... Actually no that was my only worry XD.
Sometimes you want to be an elve grazing the planet with your charming, natur bonded and etheral lifeform, but sometimes you just want to dig that feeling of the simple minded, brutish, life enjoying, craftmanish life of the dwarfs, while singing and smashing the floor in rythm till someone is pulling your ears for your bruttish behavior until you become an elve again.
If I remember the lore correctly, the dwarves were resistant to the corruption of the rings of power that Sauron gave to their leaders. The only real effect was an increase in their greed, which led to the downfall of a number of their ancestral homelands, Moria being one of them. Their greed wasn't natural, but introduced by Sauron. That meant that not all were greedy, but could be corrupted. I've always liked them as a race of middle earth.

Dwarf is a nameless worker in the Hobbit. He appears when Erebor is being explained, they go through explaining the mines, and eventually how Smaug came to take the mountain for himself. He is not dabbing, I assume some of the sparks sprayed his face and it was reactionary.
