I just thought about this. If I'm not mistaken, in the rules the goalkeeper can't touch the ball with his hands if it's returned to them by a teammate. They need to use their feet, chest, head, shoulder, anything but their hands to stop the ball. I think the game might implemented for Morisaki to use his feet in that case, but because the ball was passed high his AI just couldn't do anything about it. That's a wild bug! XD
Indeed, that is correct. That rule was implemented to discourage time wasting. If an own teammate passed the ball to the keeper he might not pick it up with his hands. Doing so means getting a free throw for the other team (yes, even inside the penalty area).

Goalkeeper are not allowed to catch the ball passed by their teammate, except you pass it with your head or chest. That's the rule.
