I started potting my plants into recycled cups too recently! I like the depth more when they're smaller because it keeps them from drying out as quick as a regular pot would and I'm an underwaterer so it's really helpful
👍🏾Video. Plastic cups are a jewel. I have purchased many plants in cups from Swaps. Philodendron El Choco is my favorite houseplant. It’s in Aroid mix with 1/4 cup of soil at the root ball. She is gorgeous and bug free. I’m June in my Junegle, VA. 🪴Happy Planting🌿
Swaps… gotta look them up. I didn’t think I would like the El Choco Red As much as I do right now. So glad I got it. I hope your plants keep growing well for you. Thanks for stopping by today. 🪴😊🪴
Yeah, I think the hobby gets onerous when it's all about the aesthetic this and aesthetic that. It's added pressure i don't need. I have upwards of 150 plants, from lots of ferns & calatheas, philo's, hoyas, succulents, cacti, etc, etc. in my small 144? sq. ft. office. They all need different care, and the single best thing I have done is to buy a big pkg of those white plastic plant labels - it's so awesome to just write the month & day when I water them. Then when I'm looking around for what needs watering I can see instantly what's a 'no, maybe and definitely' needs water.
I currently use horticultural oil as a preventative measure. I know some also use it to treat. I can’t find the one I use on Amazon. But here another option: amzn.to/4a6cgpW

Yes! I agree. 100% about the deptj. And the drinking cups are firmer and higher quality in my opinion. It’s a win win! 🪴😉

Great list! Hope you find them soon. For some reason the Princess has become harder to find in my area.
You were able to add some beautiful plants to your collection! I also got a baby Florida Ghost recently. Mine is very small but it’s so cute 💚💚💚

Smart! You’ve got a great set up! Thank you for sharing those tips with us. 😊🪴
If it's white, it's rockwool. If it's brown, it's PAFCAL. Usually used by gardeners to grow seedlings hydroponically.
Thank you for clarifying 😊. It’s so hard to get it off the roots.
@@luciansteph if u watch some aquascaping videos, they remove the white ones with a fork. I have no personal experience with the brown ones.
@@AhmadAsrafHashim so much great information here! Thank you so much for sharing that with me. I’ll def try it next time
