James/Joe have a drive around your local industrial estates. Some of the bigger firms there will have 100's of pallets they will be glad to get rid of. We used to get paid for our pallet collections.........not anymore.
Great video as ever. Slowly catching up on the older ones. I think swerving IOW Kia’s was a good move. Probaly old Pool Cars that have been ragged senseless by every employee. Have you looked at Gym floor matting for the photo area. Durable and I think a lot more reasonable than showroom flooring👍
Lovely to see you ‘trogging’ around the locality, you do seem to buy in some great older motors and resurrect them at affordable prices whilst supporting the local car industry.
I would have thought a plain white background would be less distracting than a busy background - but I am happy to proved wrong once the jenga wall is complete 👍
Agree white would be better but the goal here is to make the pictures stand out when people are doom scrolling on Auto Trader. Want people to think ‘oh that looks cool’. Jenga Wall - like the name haha!
Salvage rebuilds , made a new office space and Chris made a lovely job of the office walls , very similar to what you are doing (not sure if it was pallet material ) but along the same lines, I really liked the finish , have to agree about the flooring looks terrible and appreciate it’s a lot of money to outlay , but those pictures you took looked real bad with the floor in them , couldn’t you have doctored the flooring to make it look perfect ? I did give you a lead for flooring but guess the cost as this moment in time is out the question , the good thing when you do invest in flooring you can take it with you and buy more if you do manage to get in a bigger premises at some point , because you are in a small showroom it’s looking very cluttered, sorry don’t mean to affect it’s just the way I see it , anyway let’s look upwards and onwards 👍🏻
You did thank you. We tried it. We’ve got a few options on the floor but it is so expensive for what we need. But we need a solution! I’m sure we’ll sort something out
You’re both very entertaining, and you seem to both get along so well together. I don’t sell cars, or buy cars, but I love cars! Your content is great. Random question: James I love the Peak Performance clothing. Does it fit true to size, as it’s mail order from Europe 😂 #randomone
My favourite brand. As you can probably tell. Most of my stuff is extra large but I buy it whenever I’m in France so I can try it on. The exciting news is I think there’s a shop opened in London now
The Isle of Wight Kia’s have very good history . They are mainly used by the community carers nurses social services etc . Kia look after them even if a bulb goes . If they are the right prices buy them 👍. unfortunately the icc are terrible in communication and customer skills 🤦♂️ . Try talking with someone else involved . Unless they know you or you done business before they will be difficult to deal with.
Hi guys. I find responding to a text straight away sometimes results in a dead end. Perhaps delaying your response to an enquiry may help? I realise this sounds counter productive, especially in your profession 😃
@@CarDealerMagazine Absolutely, and i totally get that. Being a cynic i have come to recognise the culprits 😉. Whereby you are dealing with first time enquiries. Still, it's a thought 🤔
According to SMMT, used EV sales are driving up the 2nd hand car market, and selling like hot cakes within 19 days. Lol. So fill your showroom with used EV's, and you'll be raking it in like Elon.
I’ve dealt with the IoW council. A bunch of mucking fuppets!
Enjoyed guys, you get on well together. Looking forward to the next one
@@TonyM444 luckily we do 😂

I watched the Return to Paradise show on BBC tonight. The cop is an absolute doppelganger for Joe, even sounds like him !!! 😂
I’ll point that out to him…

How about a plinth for photo area floor?

Pulled out now sadly. It didn’t feel right. They were quite difficult. Hard to agree to buy them without at least seeing the history

Interesting. We normally go straight back as we want people to know we’re engaged and there to help

Mmm…. Those Ka wheel trims are awful. Are OEM’s not financially feasible? Just a thought chaps & love your content!!
A mere matter of taste… and price! I’m sure someone will love them. Glad you like the vids
@@CarDealerMagazineI hear you but it might also be a matter of why it’s not selling? 🤔
Have to say big NO to chopped up pallets, far to busy looking, stick with painted boards, it's
the car that's the main event.
@@anthonypaterson7066 don’t tell Joe that we’ve started 😂
I'll give you £250 for the Meriva.
the first but no comment. lol.

I don't like Joe. I would not buy a car from him.
