Bombay Beach looks so lovely but then I love any beach ! This one liked so unique and mysterious and I loved the artwork there. It does have an interesting flavour like you said Julie, so so creative and amazing history of this thriving town from the 50s and how different it is now. That was amazing to see 👍~ Anna
A very Bohemian community at this place that was once a very popular holiday destination until the salt levels rose too high in the water. It sure was an interesting visit. Cheers!
Hey. Glad you visited there recently. I am also planning a trip soon, just wondering if its safe to do so ? Can you share some pics to compare how its looking ? How was your overall experience?
It sure would have been amazing to have experienced this placed in the 1950s. We were glad to at least have visited this once upon a time recreation destination.
@@piyushkumar5759 Ofc! I'm sure it is safe to make a visit there. I'd say whatever I saw there were pretty much the same things as what's shown in this video. I'll love to share some pics as well! I would say my overall experimnece was great since I love to explore different places. And this place is very unique!
Hi It looks like i see your videos alot Thank You I have a question do you remember what street you park on to look at the art on the beach ?and can you walk to the Salton sea Thank You
In the Bombay Beach community (which is only a few blocks), we drove down to 5th street and there was a parking area at the beach area. We parked our car there and then walked around the neighborhood. We explored a bit of Salton Sea both from this area plus from the visitor center area for Salton Sea.
@@ThePlacesWhereWeGo OK Thank You when you say visitors center you mean the visitors center up north from Bombay Beach like hmmmm 30 miles also what town did you stay in or were you in a camper? Im thinking about the Salton sea or Borrego Springs or 29 Psalms Borrego Springs seems $$ Thank YOU Again
love the open air, space & outdoor peace.

Even though I was born in Los Angeles I have never visited the Salton Sea but it lives inside of me.
I was there yesterday and it really shocks me how different the town looks like compared to the 1950s
