No worries, sometimes before baking when you use eggwash/milk to brush on top, it may get extra and spills on the sides of the bread, which is why it sticks to the parchment paper . This is one other reason of it sticking. :)

Cooking Passion why? Is it because of their dissolving issue? Because when I used granulated sugar in making brownies it doesnt dissolve properly and make it less sweet. However I did try your recipe 2 days ago. I used 0.5 cup granulated sugar, and it taste fine (at least for me). I'm gonna try this recipe again and see if using caster/powdered make a different result.
Does this "regular" sugar turn up at the same time every day? The only white sugars I know are granulated (the ordinary, standard sort), caster (which is finer) and icing (which is powdered).
Maybe you added extra yeast in quantity or you left them to rise for a long time . For brown colour on top, if you properly brushed with milk, you'll surely get the colour. :)
Maybe your yeast is not good quality or second reason maybe your rising time was less, you need to rise dough for 2 times.and the dough should be soft :)

I'm guessing that it's much colder where you live... in that case you might probably find (or create) a warmer place for the dough to rise.. when it gets cold here in my home town I usually preheat the oven to 35°c and just rise the dough in the oven with a small gap open in the door.. But apart from that I dont think you have to make any changes to the oven temperature.. Good luck..
