There are people with nice voices who do nice, professional-sounding resort check-ins, and there are people who act do well with enthusiastic, empathetic friend roleplays and whatnot, but putting it together the way you've done here is particularly nice. Well done. Thank you for this.

Finding one or more of them and planning something fun to do during the holiday makes it a lot easier. Skyping with family is an inadequate substitute for actually being there, but if you can set up a video chat as well, it's a lot better than nothing. Hugs, and hang in there!!

Getting to learn and experience another culture, meet and understand new people. Getting together with other branches/forces to provide for those who are in need whether it be food, clothing, and/or shelter. It's an experience I'm glad to have and will not forget. It's also why I feel more homesick than usual. Video calls are definitely important. Try to have them when we can. Thank you for the kind reply.

I was originally imagining this was the resort where Wham! filmed Last Christmas. Unfortunately I realized that was a cabin and not a resort and the illusion was ruined. Good video as usual though
I would never know what to get for dinner at a place like this. How do you tell a Michelin star chef that although their menu sounds impressive and I’m sure they worked hard on developing the flavor profiles, , I really rather have a cobb salad and pepperoni pizza? Oh and a Mt.Dew. They can put it in a champagne flute if they want but I don’t mind just the bottle.
