Qur'anic manuscripts at the Birmingham and Top Kopi museums and Sanaa Qu'ran are from the lifetime of The Prophet Muhammad pbuh or within a few decades of his passing. Carbon dating provided verification of the time range.
Both of these documents (Birmingham and Sanaa manuscripts) raise significant questions about the early production of the Quran. In the case of the Birmingham manuscript - it has no content in which can be said to be the result of a 'revelation'. All of its contents are actually passed down from the centuries BEFORE Mohammed and Islam.....they were well known stories from history. In summary, the Birmingham folio cannot be considered a 'Quran'. In the case of the Sanaa Palympsest, it has a writing underneath the overwriting that when examined shows that the Quran was written in a completely different order and because of the mosque drawing on it, it tells us that the Quran was still being edited 70 years after Mohammed died.
@@theonlyway5298 Absolutely incorrect. The dogma of crucifixion of Jesus Christ to atone for the original sin is based on a flawed foundation, and anything built on flawed foundation is itself flawed. The idea that Adam’s sin was passed on to his offspring contradicts the verses in the Torah which, according to the New Testament, Jesus came not to destroy but to fulfill. In Deuteronomy 24/16, we also read, “The fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall the children be put to death for their fathers; a person shall be put to death for his own sin.” In Ezekiel 18/20 we also find, “The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son.” According to Matthew 16/27, Jesus himself said, “Then He will reward each according to his works.” This is in agreement with the Qur’an (53/38-40) which states, “...That no soul shall bear the burden of another, and that man shall have nothing but what he strives for, and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen.” If belief in the crucifixion of Jesus were the only way to salvation for those living in his time and those who believe in him afterward, what would be the case of the sinners who died before Jesus and never had the chance to know him or believe in the crucifixion? According to the Bible itself, it is not correct to say that Jesus had come to die willingly and deliberately for the sins of humankind. We read in the Bible that he did not wish to die on the cross, and that when he learnt that his enemies were plotting against his life, he declared, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death.” (Mark 14/34) After that he prayed to God, saying, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.” (Mark 14/36) He also asked his disciples to buy swords (Luke 22/36) and keep watch over him at night to protect him from his enemies. The Bible tells us in Mark 15/34 that the person crucified “cried out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?’ which is translated, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?’” Such desperate cries - if we accept for the sake of argument that they did occur - prove that the person crucified was not willing to die on the cross. More importantly, the passage contains clear evidence that the person crucified could not possibly have been Jesus Christ, as such desperate cries and panic do not befit a prophet of God, let alone one who is claimed to be God.
the concept of having children is something that God gave to humans. It is not something that befits God. If God can have children and humans can have children, then we share a quality. We share a trait. God is unique and having children by definition makes him not unique. God by definition has to be the one and only, with noone to share powers with. How can God have kids? If Jesus had children then God would be a grandfather? If those people had kids and so on and so forth then there would be a whole generation of people who are literally related to god and are God's themselves? Quran verse 19:92 "It does not befit ˹the majesty of˺ the Most Compassionate to have children." what’s the purpose of a God having a child? Humans are created to have kids right, we procreate to continue our legacy and especially our genes. So why would God need to have a child? Simply doesn’t make sense. If it was agreeable with God’s Majesty to have sons, He could have created a million sons the like of Jesus. So what is the big clear deal about this only son?

re: "Do we have any surviving documents talking about the crucifixion from the 1st century?" *ANSWER =* No. There are no currently known surviving 1st century gospel manuscripts for 3 reasons: 1) Papyrus on which such writings were made, had a normal lifespan of about 100 years, unless it was kept scrupulously in exceptional conditions - otherwise it disintegrated. 2) Persecution of the early believers, including their arrest, execution and destruction of their property, including writings; 3) The destruction of the Great Library of Cesarea Maritime, by Arabs when they invaded Palestine, destroyed 30,000 scrolls of Christian, Jewish and other writings, in a mindless act of rampant vandalism - which included the early Gospel of Matthew to the Hebrews containing Jesus's words. This library will have contained the early Christian literature and records from the 1st century. *HOWEVER:* These 1st century gospels were copied and we have the fragmentary copies of them which date to the 2nd century. So although the original 1st century documents have not survived, we have fragments of the 2nd century copies of them. When these are compared with the early church father's quotations of the 1st century writings, we find they correlate in content. In summary, ALL of the above documents tell us of the crucifixion of Jesus. There are NO authentic first century documents which tell us that Christ wasn't crucified. In summary, Christ was known throughout history as having been crucified. The Quran by complete contrast, alone, 600 years later, makes the unsupportable and indefensible claim that Jesus wasn't crucified - going against all history and all the available historical documents which confirm that he was crucified, including those writings from non Christian sources. The Burden of Historical proof required must come from Muslims who claim that the author of the Quran was correct in saying Jesus wasn't crucified, since it alone makes this bizarre claim that the crucifixion of Jesus 'didn't happen'. To my knowledge, there is NO such evidence or proof that can possibly support the Quran's claim and there are NO 1st century authentic contemporary documents that state that Jesus wasn't crucified.
The earliest manuscript of a New Testament text is a business-card-sized fragment from the Gospel of John, Rylands Library Papyrus P52, which may be as early as the first half of the 2nd century. Christians usually say that the manuscripts of the Bible are a great historical evidence for its authenticity comparing it with manuscripts of some contemporary works and consider that the extensive number of Biblical manuscripts is a conclusive proof that the Bible we have now is an authentic book from God. However, this is not enough evidence from the Muslim point of view as the number is not the only factor that tells if it is true or not. What is more important is the time at which these manuscripts were written. Gaps between Bible Manuscripts and Writing Dates When we examine the manuscripts of the Old Testament, we find that the two major manuscripts are Masoretic text in Hebrew and the Septuagint in Greek. The Masoretic text refers back to the 9th century AD, while the oldest manuscript for Septuagint refers back to the 4th century AD. As for the New Testament, the oldest manuscripts are the Greek Vaticanus and Sinaiticus which are considered to be the main manuscripts used, and refer to the 4th century AD. As we see for both the Old Testament and the New Testament, the oldest manuscripts refer to the 4th century AD. This means that there is a gap between the time of the Prophets including Jesus (Peace be upon him) and the time of writing these manuscripts, and consequently makes the claim that the Bible was fully preserved not very accurate; because it could have happened that the writers of these manuscripts were anonymous. Do Early Fragments of the New Testament Prove its Authenticity? Some might say that there were earlier fragments that prove that the books of the Bible were present at that time as the fragment of John Rayland for example which refers to about 125 AD, and shows some words in the Gospel of John, A fragment showing small words in Gospel John is the sole early Christian evidence that the Gospels are authentic Actually this is not a proof even for the existence of Gospel John at that time, all what it can prove is that only these words were present at that time, but it could have been taken from another source, and it may have been that the writer of Gospel John copied it from that source,...etc., many possibilities exist, but this is not an evidence in itself. Do Dead Sea Scrolls Prove Authenticity of the Old Testament? This is also the same case for the Dead Sea Scrolls, all what was found in Qumran were mostly fragments, the only book which was found to be nearly complete is the book of Isaiah, but all other Old Testament books were fragments that doesn’t prove that the Bible was present the same as it is now and even some of the Biblical books like Esther and Nehemiah were totally missing. On the other hand, that a lot of Apocrypha were found among the scrolls, which puts another question mark concerning the books which were considered canonical at that time, and on what base were the books of the Bible taken as canonical and others were not? Especially that a lot of these apocrypha were present with the canonical books in the same manuscript as 1-4 Maccabees and the Prayer of Manasseh which are present in the Vaticanus with other canonical books.
Christians often argue that since the Qur’an is 600 years after Jesus, it is a less reliable witness than the New Testament. Consistency is key here, and the response is quite simple. The Christian accepts the first five books of the Old Testament which are usually attributed to Moses (عليه السلام). Yet, these books contain histories ranging from hundreds of years to thousands of years before Moses (عليه السلام) is alleged to have written them. Some Christians consider the accounts in Genesis 1 regarding the creation of the universe to be a historical account. Others consider it to be a phenomenological rendition of the creation of the universe. Either way, Christians accept these accounts as accurate despite the distance (disparity) between the time of Moses (عليه السلام) and that of the creation of the universe. If missionaries applied the same criteria to their scriptures, they’d have to deny them as well as declare them as being historically inaccurate due to the gaps of time between the events themselves and the later authorship which recounted them. It should also stand to reason that not all accounts closest to an incident would be accurate, and that there exists the possibility of a later writing based on a stronger oral tradition. In such a case, the closest account may be inaccurate but the later writing could be more accurate. In conclusion, this is a very poor argument and it is an excellent example of poor thought processes. Theologically speaking, when it comes to matters of revelation, time is irrelevant. Since God is all knowing, it can be inferred that when He inspired Moses or Muhammad (عليه السلام) to write about the past, then it is assumed that what they wrote was historically accurate. The mainstream Christians today strongly believe in the crucifixion of Jesus. The standard account of what historically is claimed to have happened during the crucifixion of Jesus in today’s Christianity, is based on the accounts in the four canonical gospels although their authors are generally regarded as anonymous. In these accounts, Jesus was crucified, died on the cross and buried outside of Jerusalem during the thirty third year of his life. Then he arose from the dead and he was raised up to heaven. Contrary to this Christian account, however, the Quran strongly states that Jesus was not crucified or killed, but instead God raised him unto Himself. There are Hadith mentioning-Allah,may He be exalted, caused someone else to resemble him, and it was this other person whom they killed and crucified, not Jesus. According to the Gospel of Barnabas it was Judas, not Jesus, who was crucified on the cross. As we shall see there is no statement in the Quran more explicit, emphatic and uncompromising in rejecting the dogma of a faith than this. Why? concerning the crucifixion of Jesus: Sura 4:157-158: "They [the Jews] slew him[Jesus] not nor crucified [him], but it appeared so unto them...they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain, But Allah took him up unto Himself." why the Quran so strongly denotes the dogma of the crucifixion of Jesus? What is the big deal about it? Many Prophets have been tortured to death in the past. Prophet Yahya (John the Baptist) was historically the closest prophet to Jesus who was beheaded and died as a martyr. Thus, what is wrong if Jesus was also killed by his enemies? The answer is, firstly, the holy Quran contains ‘The true story of Jesus’ as well as other prophets. Thus, any distortion ought to be corrected. According with the Quran the accusation of the crucifixion of Jesus is as grave as the false charge they uttered against Mary in terms of illegal sexual intercourse. Secondly, the crucifixion of Jesus is not a mere historical event in today’s Christianity. It is of fundamental importance to the theology of most contemporary Christians. Thus, the cross has become the primary symbol of Christianity. ‘Atonement’; The dogma of reconciliation between God and humans by the redemptive life and death of Jesus, lies under the cross of Jesus. To them, Jesus died on the cross so that the sins of those who believe in him can be forgiven and thus they can gain salvation. They regard the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus with the conviction that all took place ‘According with the scriptures’. (1 Cor. 15:3-5) According with the teachings of Paul (not Prophet Jesus) without crucifixion, resurrection of Jesus becomes irrelevant and without resurrection Christianity itself is rendered meaningless. Paul in his first letter to Corinthians claims: “But if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching amounts to nothing and your faith is futile.” (1 Cor 15:14) Therefore, the extra emphasis of the Quran on denouncing the dogma of crucifixion means more than a mere historical correction. It aims at denouncing the illogical dogma of ‘Atonement’. So Allah slapped you Christians hard by denouncing crucifixion😁😁😁😁😁😁🤪😁

Unlikely the thousands of alleged biblical manuscript of which NONE are from the time of Jesus nor are any of them identical to one another, the Qur'anic manuscripts prove that the content of Qur'an has unchanged since the time of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh. It's just a matter of fact even though the disbelievers try in vain to say otherwise.
@@1000ramd. Actually what I have said is certainly correct, for the record - otherwise I wouldn’t say it. It has nothing to do with whether I am ‘a believer’ or not. Some things are facts and ‘belief’ must give the priority to facts.

@@1000ramd Neither is the case. I suggest you look into this without personal bias based on your beliefs, because what I have said is in fact, true. I’m not going to provide you with anything more, because to do so would take a great deal of my time and trouble….and I don’t do other people’s investigations for them.
Suffice it to say:
Birmingham folio ONLY contains old stories which were centuries old by the time of Mohammed - ther was NOTHING ‘new’ which could be called ‘a revelation’.
Sanaa palimpsest has writing underneath the present text which can only be seen with Ultraviolet light. The underlying text was in a completely different order of chapters with many differences - showing us that it was from the period of time when the Quran was being edited, decades after Mohammed died.

The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son.” According to Matthew 16/27, Jesus himself said, “Then He will reward each according to his works.” This is in agreement with the Qur’an (53/38-40) which states, “...That no soul shall bear the burden of another, and that man shall have nothing but what he strives for, and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen.”
If belief in the crucifixion of Jesus were the only way to salvation for those living in his time and those who believe in him afterward, what would be the case of the sinners who died before Jesus and never had the chance to know him or believe in the crucifixion?
Speakers' Corner needs generally accepted rules of engagement to stop people speaking, shouting over each other and interrupting each other.
the concept of having children is something that God gave to humans.
Quran verse 19:92
"It does not befit ˹the majesty of˺ the Most Compassionate to have children."
what’s the purpose of a God having a child? Humans are created to have kids right, we procreate to continue our legacy and especially our genes. So why would God need to have a child? Simply doesn’t make sense.
If it was agreeable with God’s Majesty to have sons, He could have created a million sons the like of Jesus. So what is the big clear deal about this only son?
your bogus claim crumbled.

Spoken by a blind following christian
re: "Do we have any surviving documents talking about the crucifixion from the 1st century?"
*ANSWER =* No. There are no currently known surviving 1st century gospel manuscripts for 3 reasons:
1) Papyrus on which such writings were made, had a normal lifespan of about 100 years, unless it was kept scrupulously in exceptional conditions - otherwise it disintegrated.
2) Persecution of the early believers, including their arrest, execution and destruction of their property, including writings;
3) The destruction of the Great Library of Cesarea Maritime, by Arabs when they invaded Palestine, destroyed 30,000 scrolls of Christian, Jewish and other writings, in a mindless act of rampant vandalism - which included the early Gospel of Matthew to the Hebrews containing Jesus's words.
Gaps between Bible Manuscripts and Writing Dates
When we examine the manuscripts of the Old Testament, we find that the two major manuscripts are Masoretic text in Hebrew and the Septuagint in Greek.
Some might say that there were earlier fragments that prove that the books of the Bible were present at that time as the fragment of John Rayland for example which refers to about 125 AD, and shows some words in the Gospel of John, A fragment showing small words in Gospel John is the sole early Christian evidence that the Gospels are authentic
Actually this is not a proof even for the existence of Gospel John at that time, all what it can prove is that only these words were present at that time, but it could have been taken from another source, and it may have been that the writer of Gospel John copied it from that source,...etc., many possibilities exist, but this is not an evidence in itself.
Yet, these books
contain histories ranging from hundreds of years to thousands of years before Moses (عليه السلام) is
alleged to have written them. Some Christians consider the accounts in Genesis 1 regarding the creation of the universe to be a historical account. Others consider it to be a phenomenological rendition of the creation of the universe. Either way, Christians accept these accounts as accurate despite the distance (disparity) between the time of Moses (عليه السلام) and that of the creation of
the universe.
Why?
concerning the crucifixion of Jesus: Sura 4:157-158: "They [the Jews] slew him[Jesus] not nor crucified [him], but it appeared so unto them...they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain, But Allah took him up unto Himself."
why the Quran so strongly denotes the dogma of the crucifixion of Jesus?
(1 Cor. 15:3-5)
According with the teachings of Paul (not Prophet Jesus) without crucifixion, resurrection of Jesus becomes irrelevant and without resurrection Christianity itself is rendered meaningless. Paul in his first letter to Corinthians claims: “But if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching amounts to nothing and your faith is futile.” (1 Cor 15:14)
Therefore, the extra emphasis of the Quran on denouncing the dogma of crucifixion means more than a mere historical correction. It aims at denouncing the illogical dogma of ‘Atonement’. So Allah slapped you Christians hard by denouncing crucifixion😁😁😁😁😁😁🤪😁
@@ShuhraChowdhury Ha, ha, ha,….LOL! I’ll answer this shortly.
@@ShuhraChowdhury I’m afraid that the only thing your comment “proves”, is that you do not understand the Bible and you lack knowledge. In addition, your “logic” is profoundly erroneous!
Mansur always likes to argue with women and the park who are less knowledgeable. It makes him feel good 😂😂😂. It’s his modus operandi. When he debates with knowledgeable people he throws insults and then runs away 😂😂😂.
