We drive from Maine to the Florida Keys every April with our camper. Last year, we truly enjoyed Fort De Soto Park not far from Tampa. Sites include water, electric, dump stations placed in easy in/easy out areas. Sites are large, many are on the water, lots of trees between each site. Lots of wild life: manatees, birds, RACCOONS, fish, horseshoe crabs, etc. We also enjoy Curry Hammock State Park, Marathon Key, FL. Safe travels. Thanks for all the wonderful videos. Our boys are teens, and same as you, will always be there for them when needed. Glad your son is ok!

Let’s see...we have three kids 44 to 49 and it hasn’t ended yet!! But we love them and they always try to pay us back. Just wait for the grandkids and add them to the mix❤️
You both are such an inspiration to us! We are retired and in our 60's. Im trying to get my husband to sell everything and hit the road. We live on Toledo Bend lake and he loves to fish. That being said, he doesn't get to fish much for working on repairs all the time. We have two daughters around you and Phils age and they are constantly telling us we need to sell and hit the road. We just got our 2019Tiffin Allegro Red PA 40' and love it! I watch y'all everyday and some nights.
Our kids are always on our thoughts, prayers, hearts and wallets :) just like we were for our parents!! Lol

We're staying at Hardee Lakes County Park in Bowling Green. It's in central Florida and the only thing it's missing is a sewer hookup, but a very well maintained park!! Peaceful during the week, and fills up on the weekends with locals, but otherwise we have really enjoyed our stay here as well!!!👍💞🤗

Our sons are 32 and 29. We still help them. So, to answer your question...they NEVER stop putting their hands in your pockets!!! But like Mike Flowers said, we still love them anyway!

We have been full-time for 4 yrs and have had water pressure issues so I bought a water buster pump. What a difference!!! Now we have 60 psi and the holding tank fills in a fraction of the time.

We have lived in South Florida for decades. It is amazing how much of Florida as Prebies (Haven’t gotten our RV, can’t even qualify as Newbies yet!) we haven’t explored. Thank you for reviewing these Florida campgrounds. How far in advance did you make your reservations? Is it difficult this time of the year to find space in Florida State and COE Parks?

Great explanation of the TSD fuel card..We've been hesitant to sign up, but will definitely be doing so and listing Phil as a reference! Nice idea about setting up a separate account for just fuel. And good to hear that we're not the only ones still shoveling $$ toward our adult children! :)
We are trying to toss the shovel! I Think this is going to be a huge learning experience for him because we are only contributing the money from the insurance company. The rest is all on him!

Little Manatee River State Park is one of our favorite parks. It was the second park we stayed at after getting our current RV. I am glad you enjoyed staying there. To be honest most of the Florida state parks we have stayed at ar really nice and very affordable.

watched this video and applied for the card. We got ours yesterday and tried it for the first time at Loves Truck Stop in D'iberville, MS. Worked just like you said. Pump Price was $2.84 we paid $2.17 with the card for a total savings of 67 cents/gal Total fillup was 68 gals at $198.34 when I checked the app It actually cost $147. 63. Wow Thanks for the video and posting to all of us. Ur the greatest.
By the way you mentioned the issues of using ssn and checking acct. It only uses last four of SSN and we opened a second checking account like you suggested for the account it works great. Thanks again. We did put Phil's name down when we applied.

We are going to sign up for TSD. We will take advantage of this discount with our diesel truck. We already fuel at the local truck stop, they sure flow the fuel so you know you're getting good fuel.

I too have the TSD card. I've been comparing prices between TSD and the gas stations in town that are significantly cheaper than the truck stops listed prices. For the most part, TSD has beaten the rest of the gas stations.

Hey guys, never commented before but love your channel! I’m retired USMC, not yet on the road FT, but will be soon. I’m in Mesa, AZ, highly recommend Superstition Mountain camping, lots of hikes. You mentioned new GoPro 8. I use a Remali (Amazon, go figure), and it has same if not better video capabilities as Go Pro at 1/4 cost, might try. Have fun! Go Navy.

Loved the video as always! The kids don't stop dipping in your wallet unless you say NO. PS we have the same problem and BC it's you kid it's hard to say no. The Corp of Engineers park looks really neat especially the boat lock was neat to watch.

It's so funny. I find that things I did when I was a teenager and in my twenties now scare the crap out of me. Didn't use to be that way but as I've gotten older I've taken a few spills (to describe some would be VERY embarrassing, like the time I was standing at the toilet first thing in the morning and started blacking out and didn't catch myself before falling into the tub/shower - yeah, that happened and it took two years before all of the pain finally went away). So now I'm much more selective about the situations I'll put myself in. Takes longer to heal up and UNEXPECTED crap always happens to this guys body. (I have some health issues that have contributed to some of that; not just age.) Good video you two! BTW, the audio on the new GoPro was good. Not as great as with a specialty mic but DEFINITELY acceptable. Safe travels!
P.S. You won't see me jumping a mountain bike off any ramps on the trails anymore. ROFL! Use to; won't anymore.

Recently received our card. We haven’t used it yet. Mom & Dad ATM never closes. But, grandchildren are the trade off. Hope to stop by in Tampa to say “Thanks” for your great videos.

We saved $103.00 on 5 fill ups and we also target the Loves Truck stops. This is a great gas savings card!

If you are going to continue to fuel at a truck stop, along with your TSD Fuel card you should get a Loves Pilot or Flying J Rewards card. It should give you points to use towards items in there store [snack, supplies, etc.] you will also get free showers with the card. This will also make your cost of going to a fuel stop less. Keep the shiny side up!
Great campgrounds! How far out did you have to book them for availability in the winter?
We carried two MTB for almost two years on our full time journey and after attempting three times to ride MTB trails I gave up. First trail I sprained my left wrist, the second I fell off coming out of a wash and scraped up my leg and arm, the third just scared me because the narrow trail came too close to the edge of a ravine. We used them mostly only on paved and dirt roads. At 68 I can’t afford to fall and injure myself. We gave the bikes away and got two Lectric ebikes. Now my wife can stay up with me. I enjoy MTB trails now by hiking them. We also have a TSD card also. I notice Loves has the best discount looking at the app. We have a dedicated account that we transfer funds just for diesel fuel and DEF. You can also use it in mom and pop truck stops also but you won’t get a discount but their prices are usually competitive. When we towed a trailer with our 2015 Ram 2500 Cummins I rarely used truck stops because the price (pre TSD) and the large nozzles sometimes got stuck or the flow was too much. Now that we have our Tiffin Red, truck stops are better. Takes more fuel planning to make sure there is a truck stop along the route if we are not on Interstates. I try to plan refueling once the tank has gone past 1/2. That is usually 500-600 miles.
I agree it is worth it to plan ahead for fuel. We also keep it no less than 1/2 tank.
They don't ever get out of your pocket... LOL. My wife and I are expats living in Saudi Arabia and have five kids, 37, 30, 27, 16, 16. All are in the pocket. The older kids live in our home state and the twins are in boarding school on the east coast.. All worth it.
We tried to get into Manatee. No space because of the snowbirds.😲 Be sure to reserve early this time of year.
Kids grow up but never grow out of being kids. LOL We got that card back in September and love it! We did the same thing using a separate bank account than our main one. Glad to hear the boy is okay!!

Like your videos the information is valuable. I do have a gas RV and I use Gas Buddy to gas both the RV and the car. Now granted I don't get the savings you do but I save 3 cents a gallon. Thanks for you videos

FYI i wear red every Friday . i do the run for the wall each year and sad that it got canceled this year. we are in the process in selling everything and you can guess the rest. just a thought on the low pressure .. ever think of a in line aux pump to draw more water
That is awesome! Not a lot of folks know about RED shirt Fridays. We figured out our water pressure issue was a clogged filter. It was less than a month old....but did its job! I actually spoke with the company that makes it and they explained it worked as advertised.
