Glad to see you're doing well and prioritizing self over garden ❤. I'm sure it'll be bountiful and amazing in just a few months. Praying for a speedy recovery and restored functioning in your hand!
I had my bladder tack rectal rebuild and hysterectomy surgery. Im going crazy here. Im not allowed to do anything. I got a few more weeks then i will be set free by the dr. Im so ready to get my garden cleaned up and cleaned out. Prayers for a quick healing!!!
I grew up somewhere the the coldest winter barely grazed 30F, we truly had 4 seasons. I miss it. Now I'm in Indiana and can't really put anything outside before mid may, by October we are having freezing weather. Love the snow, but I miss the warmer weather all year round.. and lack of tornados. I'm sure you could still garden if you moved somewhere cold, maybe not to the extent of your current garden in the winter, but it would give you time to relax and rest before spring.
I’m so glad you are taking the time to heal properly. I’ve been really sick so haven’t been on TH-cam for a bit, but looking forward to sewing seeds. We’ve gotten snow here in North Texas, but with frost cloth, I haven’t lost a single plant. It’s time to sow seeds for peppers andl herbs. Rest up and hopefully we will all see you soon.
Thank you! I'm sorry to hear you have been sick, I'll be praying for you feel better soon! We have the flu going around like crazy right now. I'm start our peppers seeds very soon too!
Hello my dear! I am so sorry that your dream for your winter garden hasn’t turned out. I know the feeling. We have a very short lived garden season up north in Canada where I live. Zone 2. We practice traditional gardening methods. Last year we got over 12 inches of rain in a little over a month. Which washed all my seeds away. It was a disaster. Anyways keep trying! And I hope you heal up soon! Subbed your channel so I can see your summer garden! It looks like you have a beautiful garden space! Take care! 💛
I haven't watched in a few months so glad this popped up! My TX garden FINALLY froze... I Still hadn't had my first frost until this past week-- 10 weeks AFTER expected... so I had my summer garden still going and missed our cooler crops all together. 1) Love your hair-- looks different than last time I watched! 2) Praying your hand has healed! 3) What book series are you reading that you mentioned? Happy New Year!
Just had carpal tunnel syndrome about 3 months ago. They DID NOT sew any stitches! But it looks like you had the more challenging one. Yikes! Mine was just a 1/2 slit in my wrist. Very frustrating because I like to go to gym everyday. So I just did alot of treadmill. I can't completely push on my palm yet for pushups. But I think another month back to normal. Sorry about the garden!

New beginnings! Even a dead garden holds the potential for something beautiful. Your enthusiasm is contagious! Can't wait to see what you create next.
I agree, new beginnings are always exciting!

What do you all do with your goats?
Do not count on the weather man, forecast, almanac, shamans, or astrology to try to predict the weather. Just be prepared :)
