Actually i play these game around 4-5 times. What i mean by that is I play until i married one of the character, didn't play the game for a while, and play it from scratch. I got to say this game is the first rune factory that i played and i loved it. I just hope rune factory 5 has the same drama or story like 3. Not that i hate other series tho.

yes. and the best is rune factory 3! the feeling and everything are so immersive. at first, you don't know anything. completely blank. and then you realize that you're one of the guardians. as the guardian, you function as a bridge. and you have dragon in that world too. water dragon. and the dragon have function in the story. unlike in rune factory 4. but indeed, the newest RF have better features and arts.
Rune Factory 3 will always be my favorite game ever, the story, the characters, the music! playing it as a 7 year old I didn't understand much. but after playing it now that I'm 16, the interactions, everything, I appreciated it ao much more now!
OddBallCanadianGamer I know that Namco-Bandai's done that a couple of times, but this was the first Natsume game that I found that did it, and quite frankly, it makes both versions of this song quite enjoyable.
Just came back after the remake announcement. Man I'm just giddy at the Rune Factory support; I thought the series would be dead when the 3DS ended and the original studio closing. Looking forward to playing this game again.

Rune factory 3 is the first ever game in the series that I played. I only learned about Fantasy Harvest Moon through a random video of RFF and wanted to see. My cousin could only find RF3 and I played it. It always has a special place in my heart. As a girl who loves fighting games AND Harvest Moon, it's a dream comes true. Micah is very special in my heart, and holy crap choosing a bride for him is the hardest thing ever. All the girls are very interesting, if you put them outside RF3, they'd be top-tier choice, I chose Raven in the end :3
When you realize that this song is about Micah losing his fiancée and not knowing if she will return or not but has come to terms with the fact that it is his fault and because she is his happiness and without her there's no reason to carry on, if he doesn't find her, he'll kill himself, thus rendering the title ironic.
The lyrics follow the plot of the game. Nearer to the end, his fiancee (in my case, Raven) is stolen, and though he feels as though there's nothing let for him in this world ("Without you, there's nothing in this world to carry on") he still saves her. I don't know that's just how it felt to me when I first played it and listened to this song (I was so young) and it seemed more inspiring to me when he saved her that way.

Ahh good ol' Rune Factory 3 my personal favorite in the series but that may change with Rune Factory 5 on the way. It really was a complete out of nowhere move from Nintendo to announce a RF5 mainly because iirc the company that owned the RF series either went bankrupt or ended the company. However I had also heard the company decided to end the RF series with RF4 but whichever the case is I am so glad RF5 is gonna be made. Now if only I could get a RF crossover fighting game with all the protags, and some villagers/townspeople I would have nothing more to ask of the RF series.
well the company that owns it is Marvelous, the company who developed the games went bankrupt (with Marvelous from what i know, hiring the people who worked for the company) so as far as i can guess, rune factory 5 will probably be good

God I remember when Shara got kidnapped. I was so devastated that I didn't do anything in the game for three in game years. I just got up, looked for Shara in the village, and went back to sleep when I didn't find her. And then I suddenly decided to look around the entire map and found a new dungeon. I was so emotional during that last fight with Leviathan that I was legit screaming "GIVE ME BACK MY SHARA!!!"

If you ever played Rune Factory 4, Micah's Golden Wooly is the predecessor to the fist weapons down to the moveset. His fiance is kidnapped but that is towards the end of the game. Which leads to some very odd dialogue as about half of the cast of waifus you can choose are half monster to some degree if I remember right. As far as I know he's the only Earthmate in the entire series who has a half monster form. So he's the most unique one by far in that aspect. Which, yes, every main character is an Earthmate and is plot relevant to some degree in the story.
They have trouble with the "L" i'm not entirely sure but i don't think that exact sound exists in their language so if they don't learn the proper pronunciation early on they will have trouble like anyone learning another language
