I have been keeping my eyes open. Problem is they are always the small ones - need one that is about 3 inches or better so I can keep all of them in one spot.
I once tried to move a turtle off the road near the city dump, and as I got out of my truck, a garbage truck ran right over the poor thing. 😢 I was crushed....but not as much as the turtle was.
Matt roll the Cyclone wire in a small tarp or canvas and you won't have those snagging issues. should have taken some of those extra handles as replacements.
Great idea but then I would has to carry around canvas. The handles dont matter - they will get broken soon enough. I have a bunch at the house as well.
While I try and think of others when it comes to children's stuff, if not Matt, another scrapper would have grabbed it. I sell (or try to) a good amount on Marketplace, and I can't tell you how long I sit on stuff like playsets and stuff like that. When it comes to kids, a lot of people want brand new.
So let it go to the landfill instead? The garbage men are roughly 2 hours behind me. If I dont take it - it goes to the landfill. If you think I should take stuff and sit on it for weeks or months- - I do not have the space. Maybe you should write the homeowner and let them know you are disappointed that they didnt try to sell it or give it to someone for free before sending it to the trash, I save what I can and scrap the rest. With a name like Scrappy Dee, I think you probably scrap too - do you wave everything you find and donate or pass it on before you scrap any of it? So much of what we pick up COULD be repurposed but that is not what our goal is. The goal is to save stuff from the landfill and make a couple bucks doing it.
Same here i try not too but as scrappers sometimes where ruff on tools i respect my relegion and my American flag not tools lay of of matt hes trying his best ok ok

The roll is not wrap but a film to protect glasses and floor when you paint. It sticks but can be removed easily.
Or to bind your children so they sit still LOL
Nice find ❤😊

People do that all the time. That is exactly why I move them. I feel like it is intentional sometimes.
That is a butterfly 🦋 house
Was it a Ninja turtle?😂 or a tortoise? Looks so adorable 😊
It was a box turtle. Tortoise are land based.

You cant scrap it all - or at least I cant. I get what I get.
Really upset you destroyed a lovely play set yesterday. Some surely could have used it. Be a little more considerate

@@nachostuff goodbye
You should actually show more respect for the tools you find instead of slamming on and try to sell them or see if somebody needs them
I am rough on my equipment whether I find them or buy them. It is who I am.
