Thank you for a very informative series of videos. Your painstaking instruction is very clear , ensuring success for viewers. I will be making a net on a much larger scale for my soccer goal, your videos lead the way! Your hard work passes these skills on to others, thank you!
Couldn't wait to finish watching the videos before ordering some net needles and rings online. I can't wait now for them to arrive so I can have a go at making my first net. GREAT tutorial. Thank you. I can see how you might adapt the same technique to making a fishing net (using a thread as wide as you would want the net instead of a ring)but wondered at whether the hemp would be suitable as I am loathe to use synthetics like nylon unless I have no other choice.
This is one thing my Dad wished he could have remember how to show me as he and his mates use to make there own as kids through the war.. he use to make more on a saturday on a per week base compared to what pop did working all week and that was just from the pelts...Rod
Your videos are really awesome! I just learned by watching them over and over and started making my own net. They are very clear and easy to understand. You even start by explaining the materials needed and what they are. I also liked your accent. Are you australian? Greetings from Mexico.
Thank you very much for this video series, I've been looking for a while for just this kind of info.....I wonder if you can suggest how I would put what I learned from you into making a hammock.
Excellent demonstration Graham! Good winter project. I need to reduce the number of cottontail rabbits around the yard and I like the purse net instead of snare wire. Once caught, what method do you use to dispatch the rabbit? Thank's, Ossie
Thanks for the great video gunner17722. I'd always wondered how this was done. Now I can make some for lots of other uses too. Nicely presented.
Very good video that mate. Always wondered how you make a net with a net needle. Thanks for that!!!!
Thank you very much for the informative videos on making net .
Keep up the good work .
Thanks, very clear and a good pace. I successfully made a net, after being totally confused by written directions.

Rabid Little Hippy Just remember Hemp is easy to work with but rots if stored when wet , try spun nylon

Remove the rabbit then neck it by holding the back legs in one hand and the head in the other , a sharp pull on the legs swiftly kills it
