You must hear Devil Church before listeningt to Absolution. Devil Church is just perfect intro for Absolution. And Absolution is a masterpiece. Love it's instrumentation.
Forgotten for a reason. It's chorus is weak and this song is not a song that sounds good on repeat in my opinion. I almost always skip Majesty when it goes on
Finally Majesty! This is a hot take, but I think this is one of Ghost's greatest masterpieces, from the guitar tone that blends so well with the organ, the poetic lyrics, the amazing bassline and the proggy instrumental section, I love it so much...
Majesty is such a good song. It's not a hit song, not catchy. But so well written. I could talk for hours about every little detail but i think that should be quite boring. But you are not riff master. Keep doing every video just like you always do. I really like your conclusions. You give Tobias so much respect as a musician it makes my heart happy.
You’ve come to my favorite parts of Meliora. Majesty, Absolution, and Deus In Absentia are all just burning awesome tracks that really got under my skin. I LOOOOOVE Meliora way more than I thought I would.
This one definitely has more of a classic rock vibe. The intro sounds like Deep Purple with that organ. Love this album though. The first two albums sound more murky and mysterious, and this (and the next 2) albums have clarity and wallop.
You know, if people want to watch the video uninterrupted, they can go watch the original video. As a reaction, I for one watch to hear your analysis and feelings about the song. So, you just keep doin' what you do. I've always enjoyed Majesty for all the things you said that make it feel a little different from a lot of Ghost songs, but I also see why some people don't like it as much. For some suggestions, I'll throw Nothing More and Wind Rose at you again, because both deserve some love. This Is The Time by Nothing More and Drunken Dwarves by Wind Rose are both great. As far as Ghost covers, Sympathy For The Devil, If You Have Ghosts, and Avalanche are really my top three covers (Enter Sandman and It's a Sin are up there, too).
I can’t wait until you get to Prequelle. The instrumentals in that album are so damn perfect and beautiful. I don’t smoke weed anymore, but those songs are something I would totally just lay back and trip to
There is a shirt with this Papa/King Kong image. I wore out mine and recently had to buy a new one! I love how Ghost references all this religious history and art history and pop culture in their artwork.
Really enjoying your dive into the Ghost well. The band I went crazy for after them was Porcupine Tree who are still my favorite band. Definitely a prog metal. Start with the live epic Anesthetize. It's almost 18 minutes. You will NOT be disappointed. 😎
This song has always been on just the 'ok' side for me. Nothing wrong with it necessarily, but if I had to rank all their songs, this one would probably be near bottom of the list. I can appreciate what people do like about the song, just never worked for me. Excited for Absolution next!
Just gotta love the tempo changes throughout this song. This song was never my favorite, but damn does it hook you! Also, diva drummer? Every single prog rock drummer would love to disagree. I mean, let's be honest, 6 or 7 piece kit? Hell, Carl Palmer's kit, more discrete than many, has more pieces than that. I think I just aged myself :)

Majesty seems to be one of these "forgotten" Ghost songs that is amazing.
Geek. Ludvig just covered it 😍❤️

Saw an ongoing poll at Reddit about the best Ghost song ever. The final two were Absolution and Respite on the Spitalfield.

Talk away...f' em
This song is a bit of a sleeper. When i first heard it , it reminded me of Deep Purple. Its Brilliant

Yes. It reminds me of Foreigner and Kansas. Also, TALK AWAY. I like to hear your reaction. It's why I'm here.
welcome to the Ghost obsession :))..please listen to Zenith once you finish the album, because it's one of the best songs🖤
Haha I’m excited to hear that one..I think its the most requested ghost track I’ve had so far
@@rockdariff Hell yes to Zenith! Seconding that motion!

You can never get to Prequelle, Prequelle is always before lol

I love Majesty but theres some Meliora track that I adore absolutely best. Cant wait to see you hearing Absolution!
so excited for you to hear absolution! it’s my definite favorite :)

I really like it when you stop and talk. I mean, that's what this is all about, right? We are here to listen to what you gotta say!!! 🤟
I dont mind you talking in reaction…it is a cool and different thing. By the way, Ghost rules 😎🤟
Hearing that you don’t like spirit sort of broke my heart
I like the track…theirs just something about the verse vocals that mess with me
Your drummer should check out Meshuggah and drummer Tomas Haake. Why not a live version of Bleed, with a drumcam?
Haha yeaaa we know meshuggah real well…one of my influences in riff writing
Just gotta love the tempo changes throughout this song. This song was never my favorite, but damn does it hook you!

I think the best testament of one's skill is to make a smaller kit feel like a huge one~
Not tempo changes, rather rhythm changes
@@DaP84 ok!
