A few tips: There can only be one hidden rift per area. It will always appear between two combat rooms, and the rewards are the rewards from those combat rooms. So you cant get a rift between shops, relic tinkerer, etc. This helps to identify where it will be. Open your codex to see how to.get the synergy blessings and eventually the legendary blessings. They are vital to get when increasing difficulty. Essence becomes really important as you progress, especially since one of the spirit statue upgrades gives you bonus dmg for excess essence after getting 7 enchantments. So dont sleep on those blessings and also destroy relics for 1 essence if its not something you are going to keep or is badly cursed (you'll see). Focus on getting combat runes and the black stones, not the scrolls so much, since those allow you to upgrade your weapons and overall gameplay, whereas the scrolls are for upgrades areas on the map mostly.
Answering to your thought at 19:40, Launcher is great to juggle enemies and extend combos, but relying uniquely on it to do fights (specially bosses) is not always the best idea, even though there are builds where you can spam launcher and just win with it (specially with the Scythe standard form) it's not always the case, and it will be more effective to use it during combos with your main attack instead of just as your only move in the kit.
Instead of recovering the head with the button just dash where it is and just lighty press the button to launch it at them without the long recovery animation, makes for a faster play. Also if you balance out attack and launcher upgrades you can make good use of the stick, the elicopter upper attack rules
So Dan, when you enter those Health Shrines, there is always a Big Money Rock, pay attention as they're easy to miss and give a nice chunk. You can see one as you're leaving the room at min 17:00
Brawlhalla is great. Its kinda like smash bros but every character has two weapons and each weapon shares a move set. The difference is that each character has different signatures and stats. So two bow characters can feel very different from one another. It's a great game that I've got over 200 hours on. It's amazing it's a free game I recommend anyone who likes this or smash bros to have a look at it. Loving the content Dan hope you're doing well
Great vid, and I think you cant get a hidden rift when on the side there is one health fountain, because the rewards you get are the ones on the side of the rift

Who else just sees haelin play these really sick underrated rougelikes and then proceeds to try it for themselves?

Seems like such a cool game, but I have never played anything smash-like, so it will take some time getting used to
I really enjoy your vids featuring indie rouge likes. This game looks really fun and I can't wait to give it a shot.

Reminds me of rob in smash ultimate in a very kinda way
Liking and commenting to share that I am loving this game and would love to see more content for it

You are a liar you didn't enjoy this game. You were out hunting bananaberry's with the gang.
I saw Beelz use this, and the launcher is OP.... especially in rifts😂 you can just knock them out with the launcher the moment they spawn
