Had a Tough Time Convincing People to Learn Professional Dancing: Shiamak Davar

Choreographer Shiamak Davar says that when he had started a school of dancing, he had a tough time persuading parents of his students why dance should be taken seriously. Davar says that in those days (20 to 30 years ago) it wasn't common to see boys attending dance classes and that people feared that 'no one would marry' girls who were taking dance lessons with boys.
