Wait, how and why did the possession creatures get knocked out from the ones they were possessing while they're still alive? The last time I did the floor I had to kill the possessed enemies to do that.
wait, am i understand it wrong that there's basically no function in her active skill? Like, when she attack the targeted enemy, she just only do damage backward from the enemy health bar. It's just the same as normal attack. for example, allies hit 50% enemy hp, and joshua hit 50% enemy hp. the allies will reduce the enemy hp from right side of hp bar and joshua redude from left hp bar. so when both of it meet, of course the enemy die bacause it add up to 100%. It's basically the same if joshua hit normally like other char which reduce hp from the right side of hp bar Isn't it just the same as normal attack without the active skill mark. of course it will be different if the hp bar reduce from right side while at the same time the mark on the left side of hp bar also moving. Do you understand what i mean?
The active allows Joshua to deal damage from the left. If you don't apply the sacred wisdom she deals damage from the right. Also her active skill deals damage and she deals ~120% damage when attacking enemies with the sacred wisdom state. So it does more than "50% + 50%" and it works even if enemies have a shield. (I hope that answer your question)
I think the main take away is If she can mark the boss, she then raises the the mark on boss hp bar while also being able to dmg the boss normally Then if the hp threshold of the boss goes under the mark, boss is insta killed after attack chain

The backwards damage is just for show. Her true power is the defend ignoring and shield ignoring damage. Plus, her damage increase to marked enemy.
