The general tackle rule is 'It is illegal to deliberately attack the neck or head during a tackle!"..The head cover some are wearing must be made of a soft material, and is purely for protection of the ears! None of the tackles i saw in this video would be declared to be illegal!..In passing, you can always pick a Rugby player..We've all got bent noses, and no front teeth!

Rugby league is big in Australia New zeland and England and a bit of France. But ow there is a canadian team in the beetferd super league soo you should react to rugby league biggest hits

In answer to your query, when a player gets injured, a man runs onto the pitch carrying a sponge. He squeezes the sponge over the injured area and the player immediately gets back up and carries on playing. The sponge is called 'The magic sponge'.

That "little helmet" is to protect your ears. Rugby tends to give you something called "Cauliflower Ears," that those stop it from happening.
Inversely, it's found that wearing a head cap to protect against concussions tends to lead to more concussions because players think it's more protective then it actually is.
In regards to injuries, if you're down and recieving treatment, sometimes you just play around the physio and the downed player.

Larry Allen NFL linesmen measured 6'3 325lbs aand ran the 40 yard dash in in 4.86 sec. How many shorter agile rugby players can run that fast. Imagine that force running at you at full speed(Rugby players never run full speed because of the nature of the game). American football is a series of sprints. In the early 1900s when there were no helmets and pads 15 people died every year playing American football back when players were 5'5 150 lbs workers. Even our White guys will destroy rugby players every day of the week and twice on sundays with or without pads(btw NFL players play tackle football without pads in training which is like rugby but harder). Sorry but rugby is a child's play next to American football. Football has way more concussions than rugby. No forward pass and shoulder charge were made to make the game softer to please the posh people who played the sport. Our football was always played by working class populace who were tougher.

    -Don't tackle above the shoulders
-Don't tackle a guy while he is in the air
-Don't lift the guy you tackle
-hit someone with your elbow isn't a tackle and it's forbidden

Because your not, rugby is a much more dangerous sport, yes you can do more types of tackles but the padding is there to reduce the damage considerably. Rugby is more played around the world because it is a SPORT not a game (like American football).
There is a bit of the game where both teams lock their heads together and fight for the ball, this is much more dangerous than anything in American football, people break necks doing this. Concussion and injury is much more likely during rugby, it is a real sport, and much more dangerous.

Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time.
Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).
Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.
(19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad)..

    For the tackling rule:
-the guy you tackle must have the ball or receiving it or just having passed it, you can't check people at random.
-you must "grab" with your arm, not go shoulder first.
-you must grab under the shoulder ( you can grab over the arm but torso level not neck level)
    -you mustn't lift
You can counter tackle by bracing shoulder first or pushing with open palm on the chest/shoulder

      In America,
We like to see the shoulder put into the ball carrier. That's the way it's supposed to be done. Otherwise it's an "arm-tackle" that's easy to break away from and ineffective.
You're supposed to lift and drive during a tackle.
It's OK to put your shoulder into someones chest or shoulder to hit them.
Everything I just said is shown in this highlight video, and it's the way Rugby should be played.
There's way too many red card violations in Rugby which have effeminized and demasculinized the sport, and the same politically-correct "safety" nonsense has affected the NFL resulting in reduced viewership and aggravating the players as well as the fans. And that was BEFORE Colin Kapernick and his nonsense.
If u wanna sell Rugby to Americans, it had better be rough and hard-hitting.
      End. Of. Rant.

    • @solomanyamin2876
      @solomanyamin2876 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@timmycrw91 Tackles can be perfectly good without any lifting at all, I would argue that the best tackles you will ever see do not lift the attacker up at all. The tackler's shoulder should be low and their arms have to wrap around at least a little for the tackle to be legal, otherwise the tackles will degenerate into the disorganised shtty tackles that you see in other sports such as nfl (although there will be bigger hits more often, there will also be a lot more missed tackles), which is why technique is so important.
In rugby, the aim of tackling is, at the end of the day, to brinng the other opponent down in the most efficient and consistent way possible, which is why the techniques taught at a young age are used, with minimal lifting. The only reason to use a lift in a tackle is if you want to discourage the opponents into running into you again (not literally, think getting big tackles first up as what i mean there), NOT to please the crowds or the americans

Concussions aren't the problem. The protocols for dealing with concussions were the problem. So the rule changes in Rugby and American football were unnecessary, and, of course, always under the BS pretext of "safety". So here's the deal : If a player gets a concussion, they shouldn't practice or play til they're healed; no time limits. But if a player practices n plays before healing, they will get repeated concussions, and later in life may get CTE. So the concussion protocols needed to change, but not the rules of the games.

Depends on the code of Rugby but rules basically no hits above the shoulder are allowed. You can't hit anyone when they're off the ground. You can't tackle in away that the feet go above the head. You must use you arms in a tackling technique so no ice hockey style checking. And in League, not sure about Union, you can't tackle in a way intended to manipulate a player's joints. Examples would be a chicken wing tackle or a cannonball tackle.

As long as the ball carrier is running with the ball, the defenders can tackle the ball carrier in any way possible, as long as it's not above neck height.
If a ball carrier kicks/passes the ball right before the tackle, the tackler won't be penalized for making the tackle as that technique is called off-loading, and is done to give the ball to another runner right before one gets tackled so that the team can get extra meters.
So yes, the tackle off the kick at 1:40 is completely legal, and so is the tackle at 1:08.
The tackle at 1:08 is simply an example of moving up fast so your opponent doesn't have time to start running/accelerate.
In rugby, these hits are normal
A tackle is 100% legal as long as it's below neck height

The best way to describe Rugby is "Controlled Violence."
As in there are rules in the game, but unlike in the NFL, the play doesn't stop due to no forward passing.
Players do wear protective gear, it just usually consists of a groin box and gum shield.
The helmets they wear are more to protect their ears from damage aka Cauliflower Ears, rather than impact protection.
Also because the play doesn't stop as often as in a NFL game, players have to keep going despite being hurt from a tackle.

Heres some rules of contact in a tackle:
    1) ABSOLUTELY NO NO NO NO SPEAR TACKLES!! - a spear tackle is when you lift the offensive player up off the ground in the tackle and invert him before forcibly driving him into the ground. If you tip any player beyond the horizontal mark it is highly illegal and will mostly be punished with an instant red card (kicked off for the whole game) and may even result in investigations, suspensions, bans, and fines depending on the severity of the offense. This is due to the serious risk of the tackle which has in many cases caused severe head injuries and concussions, spinal damage, dislocations, broken bones in the shoulder or neck, and even death.
    2) No "head-high" tackles - basically just no direct hits to anywhere above the shoulders (if the player with the ball deliberately ducks down low right as he goes into contact causing the defender to make an accidentally head-high tackle then there normally won't be a penalty awarded). This rule also only applies to defenders, while the player with the ball can "fend" which is when they stick out a stiff arm to block and fend off their defenders and in this case head high contact to the defender is allowed.
    3) No shoulder charging - a defender has to wrap their arms around the player they're tackling (or at least make a decent effort to) and can't use their shoulder to make a concentrated initial contact on the offensive player with the ball. Sometimes a shoulder charge is combined with a head high hit (when a defender makes concentrated contact with the offensive players head using only their shoulder) and is a lethal blow which will be penalized similarly to spear tackling.
    4) No tackling the player when he's in the air - if the player has to jump to catch a pass or a kick you can't hit him until he's in contact with the ground (if he jumps for no reason just before going into contact with a defender it's his own fault and it'll be his funeral)
    5) No tackling the player if he doesn't have possession of the ball - if you tackle a player when he doesn't have the ball it's illegal (although normally if a player releases the ball in a pass right before being hit by a defender who's already head down and fully committed to the the tackle then he can get away with it but it varies a little bit with every referee so it's still a risk). So you can get away with it if the player has just barely released the ball, but you won't get away with it if he is just barely about to catch the ball. After releasing the ball gets a small bit of lenience, before receiving the ball gets none at all.
That's pretty much all I can think of as far as tackling rules go...then of course there's all of the rules of the ruck which would probly out-number the word count of a bible so I won't start on them. Lets just say there's a hang of a lot of rules!!

    1. In tackling you have to tackle below the neck and you have to use you arms e.g you can’t just run in with you shoulder. But you youse your shoulder and arms in combination. Also you can’t tackle someone when they are in the air. You can only tackle or come into contact with someone who has the ball.
    2. Rugby is a very popular game but there are many leagues that are on tv so some of the much lower league games are not as well supported.
    3. Concussions are a problem in rugby but not as much as football, all of the rules on where can you tackle and when can you tackle them means there are much less, also the rules are very strictly enforced e.g. you would be given a red card and sent off for tackling someone whilst they were in the air.
    4. Those helmets are called scrum caps. They don’t protect your head from concussions, there jobs is to protect your ears when in a scrum and prevent you from getting cauliflower ear, and to prevent your head from being cut.
Hope this helps you out. I can answer any other questions

No I disagree, it’s a better video reaction when it’s done without research. That’s why reaction videos are so big.

As with any sport how full the stadium is, is dependant on who is playing, what competition it is and what the level of the teams are. Unlike American Football, rugby is international, meaning more competitions in many countries with different rugby culture and different levels of popularity. For instance international matches and competitions draws the most, then inter-domestic competitions (such as Heineken Cup/Super Rugby), then Domestic Comps (Top 14/Mitre 10/Currie Cup) then grade rugby (University/U20/School Boy). All of those can draw full stadiums or empty stadiums depending on the country, team and comp where its being played
