Great video mate. I did this earlier but didn't reformat the SD card to exFat, so this was a great reminder to do it.. Looking forward to your next video.
That hoodie is sick. Been watching your vids for a couple months and you're getting into the flow now, keep it up. Time to revive my H2 and check this firmware out, though honestly it gets more play time when just used as an SDR plugged into a second hand workstation PC w/ log periodic because like you I'm on Mac and just want to muck around without weird issues getting in the way.
@@HenryKlausEsq. thanks man. Greatly appreciated. Hoodie is from Tacrical Distributers. And ya I have some pc related stuff with the H4M in the works. At least till the app is fixed for Mac.
Ive tried every option to get what the HRF sees as an "OK SD" but no amount of applying the files by PC, over USB, or the .app website will work for me. The webapp doesn't load whatsoever. Idk what I'm doing wrong, I even reformatted again to make sure it was blanked and exFat, even though it was fresh from a bubble pack of 5 the other 4 went in Pi projects and all 4 gave me no issues...
Can it save spectrum until the sd card is full or does it still stop after the file reaches it´s full size? Would be easy to just start a new file over and over again.
Any chance you could tell me how to get the maps working? Just received one yesterday morning, thought i'd get it as a little christmas present to myself. It came with a recent firmware on it, i was able to flash it with the up to date firmware via the online flasher. I kinda thought this would give me the maps function but it didn't. So i seen there was 2 versions of firmware on github one with maps and one with no maps... so I copied the version that said copy to sd card to my sd card... and everything else still works i just cant get a map to show anywhere. I used the function built in the utility to use the sd via usb function. Portapack H2 Hack RF One

@@Jeremiah.o.A.T merry christmas and thanks for replying, would you advise doing this the via removing sd and using pc or would using the sd over usb function on the unit perform the same? i dont actually have a little card slot so that would be a required purchase unless my potato laptop has one on it
