問題
so I think I noticed the pattern with 而係 to be
A 唔係 B 而係 C
is this just a construction of nouns, or can you do it with other verbs or adjectives?
Also
不過 as "only" does make sense in english. In very formal or literary speech one would say "he is but 5 years old".

E.g I am not working but playing.
