Hi Mark, I've passed my test 1st time last 5 Feb in Mill Hill Test Centre. Your videos help me a lot, especially with your real/mock test here in Mill Hill. I bought my 1st car last week and I'm back here still watching your channel. Thank you very much bro.
this is an example of someone trying to drive by the text book instead of what's actually going on around them. like changing to 1st gear at every turn because an instructor probably told her to slow down on turns. Signalling because she knows she has to but not knowing what she's looking out for in the mirrors. She has the basics down well in terms of how a car works & drives but she just needs to learn to adapt her driving skills depending on her environment.
Yeah I agree. I also find giving someone more actions than necessary to over complicate matters and cause you to get flustered. For example, when you're told at a round-a-bout to put your handbrake on. At a traffic light, you're going to be stopped for a set amount of time. At a round-a-bout, you're going to be moving consistently and have to react, albeit safely, when there's a space. Just causes more issues for learners than anything.
This is something I struggled with & ended up failing my test because I couldn’t read the road. I just memorised the roads I did my lessons on so I knew what I had to do. But when I was on my own in a different environment I struggled. I didn’t end up going back & years later I now regret it. I aim to try again in the future.
You're an amazing instructor. This is coming from someone with 8+ years of heavy driver experience. You did everything right. Didn't overwhelm her with comments as she was driving, which i think is common sense not to do, but i really appreciated this video. Very informative and educational. Thank you very much.:)
At that speed I would have kept going tbh lol, in that circumstance with no vehicle behind I would have stopped, but any other scenario I would have gone.
I, a newly passed, would have stopped at that light but do understand that's a bit difficult to decide at that speed for learners - so yes should have slow down (and check rear mirror) a bit to prepare for that
You're right, it is difficult for learners. Especially when being marked. It would be easier if she had slowed down a bit on the approach. That way it's easier to decide whether to stop or go.
Currently have 40 hours of lessons under my belt. Have been taught that, when approaching traffic lights,. expect them to turn red if you've only seen them be green beforehand. Practically, check your rear view mirror, lift off the accelerator and cover your brake well before so that you are well placed to stop if you need to. If they stay green, all that happens is that you'll have slowed down by a few mph for a couple of seconds - no biggie.
7:49 she after stall when moved forward she went over the kerb, its also serious but not marked any reason? You can clearly see car jumped up and then came down as she steers to right to straight up her car? She did the same at 13:35 of going over pavement, i wonder you have skipped it twice???
Hi. She only stalled. Definitely didn’t mount the kerb. Also, you don’t always get a serious for mounting a kerb. It will depend on a few things like your speed and the height of the kerb etc…
From where she was, she definitely should've been lifting off the gas. But if she had kept to the speed of the road when the car in the overtaking lane gained distance she probably would have made it.
@@ZONDOdriving I was talking about the entrance that’s not controlled by traffic lights, thought they recently added it in forgot there was other entrances 😂
Speed is too slow or too fast? For reversing, do a couple of lessons understanding that Turning Left makes the car go left and turning right makes the car go right. I know it sounds silly but once you understand this, parking is super simple.
I just noticed that the head restrained of her seat is not adjusted properly ,it’s too high for her 😮

I love to hear that! The fact that you're driving now too. And you're still watching, you're a real one and I appreciate you. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳

passed second time yesterday. Your videos helped a lot
Great job! 🥳
at 4:18, she did check the right mirror, Twice.
Kaya is peng by the way. She has the basics of driving down. She just gotta slow down a bit especially at junctions. Good luck to her 😍
You still haven't claimed your prize! 😂
No experienced driver is gonna stop there 😂 only if theres police around or cameras at the light
I would stop there... 👀

Since when did they add the traffic lights at apex
They've been there for as long as I remember. When were you last down there?
