Duncan graduated from the Rock/Pop Academy and is a singer/songwriter (and yes also a vocal coach). He wrote 'Arcade'' himself. The inspiration for the song was the story of a dear friend of his when he was younger who died. She was terminally ill and her dying wish was to get reunited with the love of her life who had left her but he never came to see her. Duncan has said that the instrument is not a keyboard but a piano. On the Eurovision stage you are not allowed to play the instruments LIVE but he did play the accords though :-) This clip is from the Voice of Belgium where he was asked to perform during the final. Why is the song called Arcade? I could think of arcade, an architectural building feature, a shopping arcade (mall), a video arcade or even the record company Arcade. But all those things doesn't seem to fit.

@@Ozymandias1 when you are at an arcade you can oftentimes put more time and effort into the games in that arcade... wasting your money... addicted to the game. If we use that as a metaphor for love... sometimes you can keep plugging away only to come out the loser in the end... but you just can’t stop because you’re addicted.
The people who have the rights to Eurovision in the US choose not to broadcast it yet prevent US audiences viewing it on TH-cam. You need a VPN which connects you to a server that makes it seem like you’re from another country to view the actual live performances. They are much more impressive in the actual show - there is a larger emphasis on the staging!

Conceived by John de Mol, a Dutch TV mogul and billionaire, who also conceived Big Brother. The video says it's from The Voice of Vlaanderen, which is the northern Dutch speaking region of Belgium (Flanders in English).

Just wanted to let you know incase you didn't, this is from The Voice Final and not the Eurovision performance however it is very similar.
I'ver had a lot of difficulty finding an official performance that wasn't blocked in the US.
