Drew is the best he deserved the win more than Roman they keep talking about how it’s romans first singles match since the cancer shit but it’s Drew’s first mania match back he is far more better than Roman.

What reason could you possibly have to support a guy returning from cancer if he's already at the top of his game again? He doesn't have any battle to fight anymore because he's already won. Why not instead have had him lose that match? The fans would'vd still supported Roman and would've given Drew the spotlight he has deserved for a very long time. Also, Roman being weaker and having to stuggle his way back to top would've been an incredible long term story arc. It would make the fans root for him for not just being a cancer survivor (which they are doing right now and it's absolute garbage), but also for fighting an uphill battle against incredible odds after surviving it. Personally, I would've had Drew become the Universal champion the third, fourth or fifth pay per view after mania, build him up as a destructive ruthless and merciless champion that is decimating any and all competition (basically like Brock Lesnar, but instead would actually have entertaining matches, wouldn't be a part timer and actually has the heel charsima to pull it off) such as the likes of Seth Rollins, Aj Styles, Somoa Joe, Braun Strowman and most importantly someone that has been teased to have a match with him for a long time now which is John Cena, than after the Royale Rumble and a year's long stuggle back to being a main event competitor, have Roman fight for the position of number 1 competitor at fastlane which gets him a rematch for the championship. Roman winning back the Universal title against Drew McIntyre at mania 36 would've been awesome. They could still do that, but wtf is even the point of that if we've already seen Roman beat Drew at mania already? I know my idea is probably not the best, but its way better than the short term "I just returned from cancer and I'm already at the top of my game giving the fans almost no reason to support my return anymore as there is nothing else to see" story that they went with.
Drew is ridiculously talented. It's just jarring to watch a man of that size move like that. He's the only big man other than Taker that I've seen take a dive over the top rope. And he does a fucking flip?! Gtfoh!!
