To be honest, Linkin Park is one of those rare bands whose music I don't start to hate as they change their style. I think even if they have all this techno in it, it still feels like a Linkin Park song.

no one realizes that reason why they are going through changes because went through depression after there second album and that's why they changed part of the music but still they use the hybrid theory stuff in some of there latest albums. They still make great music loved every song they done LINKIN PARK 4 LIFE

there was an article about Chester going through alot he had a divorce then when he meet a new lady and got married he went in to depression again and locked him self in a room and started drinking tons of vodka and also tried to kill him self as well

linkin park is my favorite band ever since i was kid. i loved every single one of their changes and simply they are the best, and they'll always be the best. and everyone who doesn't like their new stuff and call it ''shit'' they can't say that they are fans of LP. if you have nothing nice to say you better shut your lousy mouth.

Mike Shinoda makes this song amazing...for me. I know others might like it for other reasons, but Shinoda takes this to another level. Awesome song. LP is amazing, but I think Shinoda needs more credit because he truly makes some of LP songs what they are, incredible.

Almost 2024 and I'm still listening to this awesome song.
I honestly don't see any problem with this song. Its as good as the so-called "oldies" lyric-wise, and the tune and rhythm are pretty sweet too.

Linkin Park`s style of music has changed so much that I think it´s easier to speak about "old" and "new" Linkin Park. People are used to think LP as a metal-band so it`s easier to speak about it as the "old" LP...
LPs style of music has definitely changed over the years but I really like it especially A Thousand Suns which is strangely alot of peoples least favorite LP album... I just absolutely adored it!!So yes the people who say Linkin Park's newer stuff isnt good are not fans like me and you and others.

I feel like some things need to all be said in one comment about LP:
1. There is no "OLD" and "NEW" LP. It is perfectly fine that you PERSONALLY like come of their songs more than others or just plain dislike others, but keep in mind that in reality Likin Park have just tweaked their style a bit.
2. There is no such thing as a "TRUE LP FAN". You don't have to like every single one of their songs to be a so called "TRUE LP FAN".
3. Hybrid Theory and Meteora are by no means miles ahead or above their other albums. I wold rank them on pair with Living Things and Minutes to Midnight (just my opinion though)
4. "This new LP shit is so dumb and electronic it should be heavier like "OLD LP" and needs more guitar" Stop posting these dumb comments. The band won't change their style just because of one pissed nostalgic fanboy. If you like their older "heavier" songs then go listen tho them instead of bitching about it on great songs like A Light That Never Comes.

I'd still would like a comeback album. MtM shifted from HT and Meteora style and it was ok. But 1kSuns just made a turn away that I couldn't follow.

Just thought I would mention this to all the haters of this new sound for Linkin Park, this particular song was a collaboration with Steve Aoki, made for the remix album Recharged, and as a way to plug the Recharge game mentioned in the about section of the video, so please try not to panic too much about their style of music. Yes it may change a bit between albums, and some people may not like the newer styles they come up with, but change is inevitable, and can sometimes be a great thing, if they never tried anything new, how would they ever know if anyone liked it or not? Me personally, I've liked all of their albums and cannot wait for their next one.

I'm old enuff to remember their first album in mainsteam america. I was at their earliest shows in Chicago. They evolve in their music. Even i know its inevitable for them to change their sound. They cant' sound the same forever. all bands do it or if not they should as in Metallica.. doesn't matter what it sounds like i will still love Linkin Park for whatever they do.
