This song is beautiful and it's about parting ways. I didn't fully understand at first and even lacked the appreciation I have now. I came to this interpretation of the song due to my recent experience of loss. My father-in-law fought the COVID infection for a month and a half. As he started detoriating and got sedated and intubated, my family looked for answers. A shaman was contacted for answers. The shaman found him already passed on but his body was kept alive. He told the shaman that he can't come back cause his body is not healing. On the day that he was unplugged, he only breathed on his own for 2 minutes and his body peaceful passed. I know what I'm sharing is morbid and sad but I hope it will you understand this song. My father-in-law couldn't come back though he said he wanted to and will try to return to his body. All we can do now is find comfort knowing that he is at peace and no longer in pain. This song is about wishing well during a departure.
