Now THIS is a proper effing crowd. I’m blown away with the interaction and energy they gave the band from start to finish. Who says the British are stuck up!? The best crowd I’ve seen in many years. Brilliant.
Been to plenty of Big band gigs. But that hype hold during the middle of this song is easily the best experience I've ever had in a concert. As they get close to the unleashing the high notes, it generates such pure excitement from everyone in the arena. You can see that radiating in people around you. Very few bands can do it, and probably nobody at their level. Top top tier performers.
Possibly one of my best ever gigs, and I have been to many.. Fulfilled my two "want's".. Seeing the WOD's and visiting the great venue that is the Royal Albert Hall. The band and the audience were just bloody fantastic..
Was there too.... first time seeing WoD and it was quite simply amazing (65 years old and been to hundreds of gigs) in the top 5 best ever. Simply superb.
It was without a doubt the best gig I’ve ever been to. They seem to get better and better every time I see them. This band just makes me feel so happy and when they play live they look like they are having the time of their lives on stage. Truely amazing…
Thanks for posting this ❤ can’t believe it’s just over a month since this amazing concert. What an emotional release this song is, it was worth the ticket price just to hear them play this!! One of the best concerts I have ever been too and my first time at RAH too, such a beautiful venue. Really hope they return to the RAH soon 🙏🙏🙏
@@itsamazeofmirrors Brandon and Adam have worked together on a Killers album 'Mirage' and they both like each others' music. I don't think that Brandon was there as you ask (but I wish they would all come to Edinburgh)🎶🙏🎸🔆
Maybe he was there, The Killers had played at the O2 that week. Seeing both The Killers and TWOD both nights at RAH - life just does not get better. All amazing shows....
Sadly the crowd participation with the football type chant does not come across in your video. It was the best part. Thanks anyway. Great night it was.
Is it just me or are these guys getting better with age? So frickin' good. So underrated.

We are the wildest crowd in the world I would say, we let out all the repression at gigs 😂
I was there. It was a brilliant evening.

Magnificent
I’m 62 I was jumping up and down like a demented teenager , what a show !
Same here my friend 62 saw them 2 weeks ago, brother and nephews loved it , what a gig!
Charlie Hall has THEE best job in the world: Looking out from up there and seeing that awesome band in front of him and that crowd singin' back! WOW!
Loved this version. If Charlie ever breaks his chains the whole world is gonna explode.

I love that when this is played in London, the bridge and the whole song, is like a football chant😅
I was at the concert that evening in the Royal Albert Hall, best night ever. The music and atmosphere fantastic 😊
I was there - fabulous concert - best band around - they don't half give it some!
Great vid of a great song made by a great band!!
When if the best things I ever saw live. Will never forget the awesomeness 🤙
HOLY! 😍 This band is so brilliant!
Incredible. Wish I could have been there
Just noticed that little moment between Adam, Jon, and Charlie at 2:46 :) They were having so much fun, love it!
Brilliant moment ❤🙏🏼🎶
amazing video and epic performance, please never take this down!
Charlie is so watchable, great bit of filming sounds good too.
One of my favourite drummers to watch live, he always looks like he's just vibing harder than anyone else in the room
Saw them in Nashville and it was epic!!!
Absolutely epic!! Great sound quality also.
It was pure class, the sound quality in the venu is so fecking good
Some of the best I've ever heard, it was very loud but crystal clear. The enthusiasm of the crowd also really added to it.
How about just simply a f*** yeah these guys are great!!!
Wow. What energy from stage to audience. Wow.
Great!! The Best Allways!
It was nice to meet you 😊
pretty biblical performance that, thanks for filming.

🤩🔥🔥🔥🔥
Crazy how they go from playing TBay with the worst crowd and sound to royal Albert hall a year apart.
cameraman knew to watch the drummer at the break, lol

Liking this Day 2 RAH performance of this song better than the Day 1 version.
Rockers
Who were Adam & Dave respecting stage right during this song please - cos it was right at me....and it weren't me for sure........
Wonderful footage. From where did you record this? I was there this night in Stalles K. Thank you for this video!

@@TheHennotaams Perfect spot 🙂 Thanx again!
Wow, thank you very much for this video. Awesome quality. Greetings from Spain. Love The War On Drugs.
Was this filmed by any film crew?
@@BelRiose2000 There were filming/recording notices around the building but i didn't see any film crew though.
Loved that he pointed to God at the beginning of the song, all glory...
Some might say God ... most would say he was pointing at some dude up on the 3rd level of RAH.
Jump ahead to 1:31...boring noise up till then. Sorry, but it's true.
