Mt Barney Logans Ridge - Cliffs of the Amphitheatre

It has been over 2 years since I've return to do Logan's Ridge, any route on Barney is a fun day out. Logan is recommended for those who have complete SER and want more of a challenge, this route though short in distance is much tougher with much more exposed climbing and scrambling. We took an unexpected deviation towards the Amphitheatre cliff where final scramble leads you directly below the East Summit.
Distance: 13 km
Elevation: 1240 m
Elapsed Time: 6.5 hours

Nice video Tofu. Logan is my favorite route to go up. Less walking more climbing.

Still lots of walking hahaha, have you done Mezzanine? that's my favourite.. but honestly any ridge on Barney is fun except South lol.. North Ridge is beautiful and best for views in my opinion.

@@tofuhiker Haven't done Mezzanine yet, would like to give it a try. The ridges around Toms Tum & Isolated Peak are quite fun and adventurous.

@@rodriguez745 they sure are, that would be Eagles ridge you are referring too, there are a few exit ridge of Isos peak, just stay on the ridge unlike me lol..

Thanks David, honestly we just enjoy ourselves on the mountain too much and should check our navigation more often lol.. the direct route was information was in a hiking book titled - the secret of the Scenic rim by Robert Rankin.
