Love this S2k build!!!! Perfect for fun track days and touge runs!!!! Sad to say that S2000s are getting expensive nowadays and hopefully I'd be able to buy one someday when I get there in Japan!!! Hopefully I'll see u there in Daikoku PA if ever and have some chats and do night cruise!!! Thank you for posting this vid!!!!
Much needed look around of the car! I recently picked up an s2000 and have been taking inspiration from your s2000! It’s been really exciting seeing the journey your car is making. Can’t wait to see the next video! 🔥
Hey Albo running the light strip on the underside trailing edge of the wing is likely hurting your rear downforce. If you mount the light bar on the upper side trailing edge you’ll get more a gurney effect that will be a better compromise on the aero
@Albo your car has come a long way since your first bought it. Really love how you had the fenders molded into the S-tai bumper at the front of the wheel arches! The yellow looks great too. It looks really close the new NSX color. Can’t wait to see some track footage once you’re ready 👍🏾
Ohhh I was going to comment before watching that the line match so well between the bumper and the fender. Now that I watched the video I'm even more impress that it's a custom job! Very nice work.
What carbon bonnet is tht could i get it here in us this same one you have or its limited to japan please let me know would like To get it update u said it in the video 9:40 thanks
I want to detail the inside of my car since I worked as a detailer but it just stays too clean! Looks like we get excited about the same things in regards to cars. Cool idea with the fog lights. I didn't check your other videos but I wonder if your intake uses that bumper hole, too. I enjoyed the video. A lot of the Voltex wing stands start pulling the edge of the trunk up, anyways. If you could move the LED closer to the edge, it might let the air flow better. The air under the wing flows slower than the air going over the top but letting the air from the top and bottom rejoin smoothly helps reduce drag and let it be more effective. That "diffuser" is just looks since there's no full panel and the fins don't run all the way down to the differential. It works better with a flat floor. What are those huge tire valve stems? Where can I get those? They're just for marking FR, FL, RR, RL? The DFVs are kind of bouncy IMO (on a friend's M2).
Not the cleanest fit between the fenders and the bumper (6:18) but that can take a lot of fiddling to make it uniform and even and may even change a bit once out of the shop while driving.
Öhlins is swedish. The japan sepc and eu spec Öhlins are acutally different. From what i remeber, you can service the japanese once only in japan and the swedisch once are more corrotion restiance and softer. German brands would be Bilstein, Sachs and H&R. K&W tend to build the coilcover that work best for super low cars, while Sachs and Bilstein work best on the track. Öhlins is the missing link between those. On the other hand you can get custom valved bilsteins. For K&W this is also possilbe, but they are to expensive. The best coilovers for the s2000 should be the Sachs by asm japan p.s I use bilstein shocks on my cars and like them. Good on the track and Autobahn. SInce the next track (oeschersleben) life to needs are rather stiff setup.
Hey Albo, really do like your content. Nice view into je Japanese carscene and cool to see the cargirls and everything. But Öhlins is Swedish from origin, it isn't German. Sure is one of the best suspension manufacturers tho, great quality and setup possibilities normally. Curious about the overhaul on them, looking forward to your review. And ofcourse verry nice S2000, cool and tasty mods. That thing looks great!
Hey Albo, I like Your Car But You Should Change The Headlights And Add a big Breaks It Will Be The Most greatest S2000 , I ve ever seen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The driver side fender n front bumper need to rebuff or sand on the edge n repaint to make it equal ... its doesnt look good as the other side ( passenger side) to get a clean perfect look
Damn, I always wanted to get an S2K but they are so expensive now and I just can't get one but now seeing yours make me want one so bad even more than before
I’ve heard and seen a lot of videos where it seems like a lot of people just deal with it when they have vented hoods, but I know some do come with rain guards. I was looking into getting a varis hood for my brz and their website states rain guards are included, and since albo has a varis hood, I’d assume his came with rain guards too.
A little bit. Best Motoring did an endurance race test with and without license plates to see how it affected cooling on different cars. Maybe on Fuji? They did a few, it's a little difficult to search for.
all good and nice, but you just ruined the effect of j's racing wing with that led bar, check how wings work and which profile makes downforce * upper or lower * and you will see what you did with that led bar ... otherwise nice items on car ;)
I do what I can in my parking lot like fluid changes, coilover, radiator, exhaust installs, aero parts, installing rotors and brake work, rolling my fenders, cutting up the bumper, and all the electronics. Paint, bodywork, detailing, rebuilding coilovers etc - anything truly critical safety wise, or that I don’t want to screw up myself as an amateur, I would rather have a pro do it. And anyways I’m just learning as I go, mostly as I need to when something breaks or when I want to mod something. Truthfully I’m not yet as mechanically proficient as I want to become!
Would like to see the stuff you do on your parking lot. It would help us a lot bec I only have a parking lot too and zero knowledge on working on cars aside from putting oil and coolant on them.

How many pounds of downforce are you thinking? It certainly has a negative impact but I think it’s likely negligible
Not sure he can get it drag tested, but it it looks fairly neutral at highway speeds. Got any bad exp with this type of setup?

Love the look of the Spoon bumper, it matches the hood really well..
Some great custom touches 👌👌👍 Can't wait to see it back on the road...
Thanks for showing your car! Love it. Does your recaro rsg clear the center console?
I have been with you through the whole build. What a journey it has been. 👍
Love your car. I would have opted for a Mugen or Spoon hardtop as OEM is super heavy. Muchos respect from another S2000 owner
Been waiting for the s2000 update video! Loving how it is looking!

really envious of u there... here in cali i can't even drive my s2k out or park outside without worry about it getting vandalized/broken into.
What carbon bonnet is tht could i get it here in us this same one you have or its limited to japan please let me know would like To get it update u said it in the video 9:40 thanks
Thanks for sharing the update. All the small details add up well. It looks great.
Looks like a beast track/show type car. Congrats on the dream build!

BIG ALBO LEVELED UP ON EVERYONE! Love to see it man!
Love ur s2k. Its so nice 👌
Hey love the channel, what happened to JDM MASTERS?
Epic S2K! Great parts. Looking forward to seeing the car completed.
A trick that I figured out is to put spacers on the parking lights attachment bolts to allow air to travel around and into the engine compartment.
I see a lot of hearts, times, money inside, please keep it well!
Dude!!! You got lucky!! Those things are super small and I'm sure you know what a pain it is to get a replacement...
Beautiful car, why did you choose the Spoon bumper over the Varis bumper
Nice little walk-around of the 🍌S2K! it's the nice subtle touches, that make a car, yours! the little things that people overlook.
Quite a nice and distinctive S2K build.🔥🔥🔥
very awesome look! but the front bumper lines to the fender and hood need more refinement/adjustment right? ._.
awesome! i like how the S2K looks now❤
Hey Albo, I like Your Car But You Should Change The Headlights
And Add a big Breaks
It Will Be The Most greatest S2000 , I ve ever seen
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
completely identical to Dustin's Spoon S2000 build ❤️ a dream come true
Hey albo I was wondering what is your opinion on the ikeya formula upper control arms? Looking to get a set.
The driver side fender n front bumper need to rebuff or sand on the edge n repaint to make it equal ... its doesnt look good as the other side ( passenger side) to get a clean perfect look
K1 Lab rear spoiler will look perfect with the J's Racing wing
Hey Albo your Honda S2000 looks so sick already
hi albo, please help, where to buy center console AP2 and door trim as well, looking around but could not find it, please advise
Awesome video as always ALBO.
Does AP2 have parts in japan for the Honda GD3 Fit/Jazz 2007)
A twin exhaust would really make this car look like a supra gapper
Not sure if this is a dumb remark... what if sand / small rocks end up inside the small vent connecting to your brakes at the front fenders?
Hi Albo, where locally in Kanagawa did you get the splitter material from?
You can find it at any home hardware store like Cainz home or Viva home
That front bumper is perfect!
hi albo, question is the wing on your s2k wet or dry?
Gurnee flaps ftw 🙌 Albo the car looks great very 2023 wangan, touge, track monster supercharger next??? 😈
Super jealous you just get to touch the RE71RSs, that is like rubber unobtanium here in the Canadias
Damn, I always wanted to get an S2K but they are so expensive now and I just can't get one but now seeing yours make me want one so bad even more than before
HI! I was wondering if one of the bolt on your rear licence plate is actually the small lens of your backup camera? it looks freaking cool!
Yes it is!
@@ALBO I like it! That's a pretty smart design!
Cool.
Try to meet Morohoshi-san and check his shop ( fighting stars).
I met him back in January 2017 at the Tokyo Auto Saloon that year.
😉
Really nice explanations! Cool stuff
I want a s2k so bad! especially yellow. Want to pair it with my fk8 any pointers on what to look for?
Hope you weren't late getting back to work
One question. How do you keep water out from the engine with those vents on your hood when it rains?
I’ve heard and seen a lot of videos where it seems like a lot of people just deal with it when they have vented hoods, but I know some do come with rain guards. I was looking into getting a varis hood for my brz and their website states rain guards are included, and since albo has a varis hood, I’d assume his came with rain guards too.
No engine mods?
S2000 is looking real clean Albo.
Sickkkk reminds me of keisuke rx7 from Initial D
Paint the hood mesh to match the black bumper mesh
Nice S2000. I wish I can drive it. My dad said 2 door car's is cool.
I wonder how the number plate affect ventilation.
A little bit. Best Motoring did an endurance race test with and without license plates to see how it affected cooling on different cars. Maybe on Fuji? They did a few, it's a little difficult to search for.
Nice job, you make great content 👍👍👍👍👍

Best S2K on TH-cam!!!
Sick car bro
RS Carbon, they are from Japan, and they can make any peace of carbon that you want albo
👍🏻
Looks great Albo .
Where is captain?
Hey albo im curious why dont you work on your car by yourself

I love the s2k man its so aggressive❤
Do yellow Fog lights
