Instructor and Educator here. I made this video to share some of the adventure that can be had with just basic equipment like a mask, fins, and snorkel.
Although certainly not required, apnea / freediving skills are certainly nice to have as it will allow closer interaction with the animals. This of course makes for great photos underwater!
Fernanda with Latitude Encounters runs a fantastic operation and made this expedition possible. I can't speak highly enough of the professionalism, expertise, and knowledge when it comes to finding these incredible animals.
