I have enough footage to make 2 more videos. I tried to sum most of it up here. The R33S battery is bigger but drains about 30% faster… which is to be expected with the bigger CPU. It does play a couple of the “higher end” systems but due to it being a lynx device it’s fairly limited on the Emulator side. It’s also difficult to make changes once you are in game on the R33S. There is no obvious setup without going to the settings menu. Also a handful of cores by default are cores that don’t work with RetroAchivements which was one of the things I ran into at the beginning of testing.
To sum up, miyoo has better software and hardware, while the r33s has better gpu/ram but it doesn't take advantage of it. Also, they are both at the same price today, even the r33s is sometimes more experience. So the miyoo is a clear winner.
I like how the r33s has the same software as the r36s. Very customizable and navigates well. R33s was kicked off the market due because they got sued? They just recently brought it back for some reason.
Video was already getting a bit long so I cut a lot out. The R33S outperforms on PSP mostly in higher end games the processor is just better. That said the Miyoo experience is far better all in
Miyoo plus is hard to beat I only had the 35xx but really been thinking about getting the miyoo plus for a while now specially since the price is great right now, yeah that clone without the sticks is not doing much would agree the 35xx h is better if you want to run those harder systems for ps1 below miyoo plus is the one to get due to software and pocket ability
@@CellPhish The point is, these devices use whatever components are cheap and abundant. For example the original Mioo Mini used BlackBerry 2.8 screen. When they ran out of screens, they went to produce the Plus model. Right now RK 3326 is dirt cheap, you can buy a retro console using that chip for less than $40.

Nailed it. There has been less than 140 R33S’s sold in my market so far and the Miyoo is a superior handheld even with the less powerful CPU

The PSP has games that work without the analog stick, would've been nice to see the comparison

First to comment was checking if you uploaded it
lol
Unfortunately, we have the same issue with the RG Arc with no joystick.
I know right. I love the Arc I wish it had sticks
It's here! I'm late to the party and just finding out. 🎉
lol

I had the impression that on the R33S the system seems better optimized compared to the Miyoo Mini+.
Out of the box possibly but MiyooMini + come preloaded with OnionOS now. Hard to touch that
Arkos imo ain't so bad?
I need the extra power to play DC, n64, and psp games! Mainly so I can play mvc 2 on dc 🙏
It’s not the funnest system to play DC and N63 without joysticks but it makes sense
@@CellPhishso you don't recommend this device? I have the miyoo mini plus but I want something with same factor that could play up to DC
