If there's 1 thing I can recommend, it's replacing the SD card as soon as possible. It's of really shoddy quality and if you take it out and put it in like a handful of times the data can already be corrupted. I've had one of these for a while and I do think it's a great little system. It feels very nice in the hand and it's easy to pull out.
I got mine today i also own the mini orig to small for me felt to gimicky this bigger version way better i also got gba comming tomorrow all custom out real cost was the og pokemon games cost me alot only crappy thing was the screen protector that come with order some from amazon and they come today
I can definitely see why people like these devices I like to stick to the original games on original systems; these feel a bit soulless compared to the real deal. Cool video video though; the way you present this system is down to earth and very pleasant to watch.
Soulless is just a buzzword stand-in being an old fogey. There's no simple and convenient way to play SNES or PS1 on the go without one of these devices, and they do them better than the original hardware in many ways too, especially with how mature the emulation scene is nowadays.
Get a new SD card because when i got mine after a few days everything completely got erased by itself. So i had to buy an SD card quality one loaded already so it was plug and play
i really like it but it also really fucks up my eyes. i can play my switch or look at my phone for hours, but 10 minutes with the miyoo and everything else is blurry for the next 10 minutes+
It's also significantly larger, heavier, has a worse Dpad, has worse face buttons and has worse triggers. Does have more power and better sound, I guess. Build quality consistency aside though, overal the build quality for the MM+ tends to be better and it feels like a more polished product. Of course if you have big hands then the MM+ might be too small. And if power is really that important you might as well buy one of those $200-$300 devices. For me it power won't be significant for a device this size until they become capable of properly playing PS2/Dreamcast/Gamecube. The devices that are capable of it are just too big for my tastes currently.
Garlic has nowhere near the amount of community support of maturity in terms of development that Onion has. Performance is only one aspect of the entire package, and lack of onion makes the Anbernic devices so much less appealing than the Miyoo duo devices.
@@thenonexistinghero i know for sure the regular 35XX dpad sucks for serious gaming. I heard the plus did improve a bit the dpad but i dont know how much. Sizewise its a great size and pocketable. Of course this one is a tad smaller to the 35xx.
Welcome to the Universe of Retro Handhelds! Hope you enjoy your gaming experiences & just have fun with this very nice device!

I can really recommend onion OS though.
Yeah I put Onion OS on another SD card I love the stock GB emulator out on there with 98 color pallet options vs uh none basically!
@@MN12BIRD I have been playing Japan only games on mine. 2d fighters are amazing to play with those good controls.
Cool!

I know it's not a popular opinion among those who don't have the means to play these games on the original hardware. @@CockroachMunchingKrabbyPatty

Oh damn that's weird I haven't had any issues like that and my eyes kinda suck!
For some reason, this happened to me within the first 2 days of use. I guess I am now used to it.
i would recommend the ambernic RG35xx plus as its much more powerfull than that one tho.
