    Guys we all know he is widely open. But there is a reason behind the aponents nor hitting him. Even if you are open, low hands are intimidating, specially if you show your apponent that you are good counter striker. The apponent will then be more hessitant and you can lower your hands more. Bcs low hands is really good for balance, so lowering your hands can give you beter mobility and balance when kicking.

      @@a_passing_cloud high oz gloves means very heavy hands due to the actual weight of it, that means the actual punching is slower in kickboxing i think they use it because the gloves need to absorb the hit form the kicks that transport much energy, fighting with high oz like 20-30 means that u need to train with even more high oz gloves, is overall more difficult with them, sorry for the bad explanation feel free to ask i practice the sport but I am not English I can't really explain my self very well

    He's not particularly talented in fighting. But he's got a good head on his shoulders, he uses his huge height and reach advantage very well, he's very smart and him being tall allows him to think without fearing a massive headshot. All the fight he was calm and observed his opponent for openings and what not.

      I'd say he's more of the traditional nerd. He's got the smarts, he's intelligent in the practical, tactical sense, he's cold and calculated. Geeks are more well known to dedicate most of their time towards social interests like video games, card games, board games, comics, movie series, etc. Andrew has a distinct hatred for most of them as he views them as a waste of time and money, though this dislike is purely for enforcing his ideas, opinions and lessons.

      In kickboxing, you keep your hands in between the head and the body (at least I do) because unlike boxing, you have to defend against kicks and knees. Your guard needs to be a lot more loose and ready to block wherever the attack is going.

    When I heard Tate was a kickboxer. I thought why haven’t I seen him in k1. Now I see why. He’s a C level fighter at best. Those k1 guys would absolutely murder this Tate guy.

      As someone that have trained kickboxing for a few years, I would actually dare to say that is your average guy at your local training gym after 1-2 years of training... Totally ridiculous claims for "world champion" status, etc

      I fought john holland, he was a good kickboxer, golden gloves, not world class but better than me, he would kill andrew tate.
      I think i probably would too, and i am 5-3 and retired.

    Marlon Hunt was actually WBC muay thai champ and not just some scrub.
    That's pretty crazy considering that Tate had not much of a problem in this fight.
