As the biggest its always sunny in Philadelphia fan, I mean like rewatched everything like a 1000 times, you're in for a ride of the funniest show in human existence and I mean that whole heartedly!! I've watched many upon many and this show is just on another level and I think by season 3, you'll thank the lord for coming across this show lol
Just to be clear, Mac and Dee met on the show and started dating. Charlie and the waitress were together before and actually got a spot on Reno 911 based on a great audition story that actually got worked into the show. They went in to an audition and told them they were brother and sister. They then started making out in the middle of the reading and made everybody uncomfortable before telling the truth. It's so bad but so funny.
Just to be clear, most men rate her an 8 or 9 out of 10. Just to be clear.
Just to be clear, the main three guys and a lot of the side characters in the first season were all good friends before the show was made because they made it for cheap as a way to work together. Only Kaitlin (Dee) was hired through an audition after FX picked up the show. The show is also made by the three guys, so that's why the joke about Dee not being a bar owner is kinda meta.
As far as the podcasts have announced, Charlie and a friend of his arm-wrestled for the honor to approach the waitress, Mary-Elizabeth Ellis (at some party). The rest is pretty much what you were told and history 😅
Always Sunny is one of the funniest shows ever. Looking forward to more reactions. Season 1 is great but the show hits another level from Season 2
Especially when “he” make his first appearance!!
@@roxtechs yeah you can say his name. Danny DeVito is literally in the front of every sunny promo page. On every media form. Including the pics used in these videos. There's no getting around it. You're not spoiling anything by saying he's in the show.

I just got into sunny this january and finished all 15 seasons in just 9 days and im now obsessed with the show and the podcast and seeing many yt channels react to it is just the icing on the cake!
I bet you it’s because people who love this show will literally watch all of them over and over just to see other people fall in love with it. It’s like Eminem reactions. The “stan” super fans give the channels serious amounts of views. I think sunny has the same type of fans

2000's comedy was really damn great. Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, and Scrubs all debuted that decade along with a lot of great comedy shows on network tv and basic cable; too many to mention. 2000-2010 is a golden age of situational comedy.

The 2000s was a clash of worlds, by the end of the decade we entered the new world we live in, where everything is governed by smartphones and the social media within them, marvelous invention that seriously helped the world, but goddamn, seeing the president of the most powerful country in the world acting like a clown online on a social media as if he's an influencer is depressing since it reflects of what overall society we live in today, aspects of this society which manifest everywhere including the 7th art.
I used Trump as an example but it's everywhere, we even have corporations pretending like they're buddy buddies with us posting memes online and acting hip, the world is weird 💀
Fun fact: all of the music used in the show is non copyright because they couldn’t afford to pay for the music rights so everything is stock music 😂
Try not to read the episode titles before you watch, as they are usually a great punchline. The show really picks up in season 2.

Most consistent show of its generation, yall gonna enjoy this a lot. Also just wanna point out that this was very well edited as far as not leaving out too much from the episode. Whoever edited definitely understands the show's humor and knows which parts to not cut out. Good job everyone!
I think the social commentary with Always Sunny is they show believable people with believable topics, and the Gang takes the negative position many would in real life, but they take it to the extreme so it makes the negative position look so absurd and bad the moral is "I dont want to be like these people". But conversely many times characters will take opposites sides in an episode, but by the end they will end up on the entirely other side, so it shows the different sides and arguments well.
I've been watching this show since it's start. My all time favorite show. The deeper you get into it the better it gets.
and it's so rewatchable! S1 got even better for me once I watched the rest of the seasons

It annoys me when reaction channels are offended by this first episode and then have a weird outlook on the show. It’s supposed to be the opposite of normal shows. It’s about bad people on purpose and that’s the point. Glad y’all liked it! It’s going to get so much better

Also the main characters are the main writers of the show. That’s why it keeps going, the same writers are the actors. Most of the show is improvised

Great group. Glad navi is hear, I don’t watch any of the shows she’s in reactions to but she’s my fave with Rana and spidey. This along with lost is probably my favourite show of all time. Listening to the podcast has enhanced that. I love these guys. They’re incredibly smart and funny and Kaitlin Olsen is the best comedic actress around with no competition. Though she doesn’t get much to do the first couple of episodes. Pretty cool you and blindwave are both starting it this week.

Just a fun little note here, since you guys also react to Ted Lasso. Rob McElhenney (Mac) and Ryan Reynolds bought a UK Football team a couple of years ago. They recently moved up a division today after winning a big match. Kinda like Ted Lasso but in real life, but with the bar owner from Always Sunny lol.

I watched this show when it was on air. Great memory. It was fun watching the show and that time social media wasn’t really a thing. So I would discuss the episode with friends in person and sometimes I would watch episode each week at my friends place. Fun memories. Loved this show.
Subscribed just for this. I started watching this in 05 from the first episode and was hooked like a crackhead. Easily the most quotable show.
There are storylines that go through the series. Especially when Frank shows up.
Rob McElhenney(Mac) was also on Game of Thrones in the first episode of season 8. He was on the ship that was holding Theon captive. Rob was the guy who received an arrow in the eye from Yara or one of Yara's men when they tried to rescue Theon.
Now this is a series I will watch every video for. I love this show

Dee and Mack are my favorite…I love when Dee is the focus. They storylines are so damn funny and go over the line quite often but still funny. She is so damn good.
Dee was the 'sensible' one in the early episodes though.

yeah, Blind Wave was essentially 'scared' to like the first few episodes or maybe they actually didn't enjoy. I think - think they are loosening up a bit. But who knows... I understand how a popular channel has to be very careful in what they say / enjoy. Though you guys seemed to just enjoy off the bat.

15+ seasons is a lot of content for reactors. Not sure why it's gotten so much more attention but I'm glad it's getting more love, it deserves it.
I've always thought it was very underrated.
Especially the first four seasons.
I wonder if the 15th season being a record for live action American comedies as well as the massive popularity of the Sunny podcast has put this show on a lot of new viewer's radars. Definitely grew a lot during the pandemic too. And maybe some new fans from Wrexham and the doc.

As many have commented, season 2 is where it picks up steam. While entertaining, I think it becomes more than just a run of the mill show once they officially find their footing in season 4

Before starting, I gotta shout out to The Normies your reaction videos are great, especially when y'all reacted to "Halloween Kills" and "Halloween Ends" were hilarious reactions. But this first episode of "Always Sunny in Philadelphia", I remember this one by heart because it was in repeat along with to this day referencing this episode. As a huge It's Always Sunny fan this was one of the best reactions I've seen! With the first episode especially, I think people get a little awkward because of the subject matter, but if you go into the show knowing the type of humor (and the fact that the gang are just bad people lol)...it's hilarious.
