Beautiful movie ! Hit the right spots. Definitely agree, the jallikettu and karikalan sequence took me away from the emotion / feel of the movie. It felt a bit forced, especially Jallikettu as it didn't add to the story, it took me away from the emotion of the film. But overall I really enjoyed this film, and will definitely watch it again. I might just end up skipping the jallikettu sequence to stay with the emotion of the film.

When he could discuss about buying home and money issue with mama, he could’ve asked him the name. Climax could’ve been better like taking his entire family to the village because Meiazhagan asks Arul to forgive his Athais..
