Nice work! You have a mile of clearance between motor and radiator. In my JK the motor only has 1/8 clearance between motor and Camaro SS fan. This makes me want to swap my TJ.
So this is what I want to do to my YJ so Im really excited about your vids. So I have to ask wont that 5.3 grenade the hell out of the Ax15 transmission? I've never seen those survive a V8
what does the spacer look like?! where does it go?? I have the same advance adapters kit and they aren't being specific in my emails about it. Any chance you can help? thanks!
Great vid man! How long did the full swap take? And how is your transmission feel? I am looking for a 6.0 right now to do a swap in my 2001 TJ and have the same transmission.
thanks, the trans is holding up just fine. We are 6 months in to this project and its still not 100% complete. We are working on a few issues here and there, and will be doing a followup video. My dad said he does have some occasional issues with his clutch releasing, its a kit from Advanced Adapters. He is going to troubleshoot that and we will be including it in the next video
@@Bigtoe7272 the trans AX15 is holding up fine. We went to Moab last summer and it is still working good. It is worn out and 2-3 shift is hard but that has nothing to do with the 5.3. My next upgrade will likely be a TH400 with manual shift body. We'll see. Send a link to pictures, you will be happy with it. So much more power and fun to drive. I had to relearn wheeling in it b/c it is a totally different rig now.
I'm trying to find out if a 3.7lv6 out of a 2006 jeep liberty will fit into my 2008 3.7lv6 jeep comander.can anyone tell me how to go about doing this thank you
bung cheese yea, it’s a my Comanche. My dads truck is down in California so we have to use it for all the “truck” stuff. And installing an engine apparently hahah
@@Joester1908 oh a comanche even better lol. I'm probably about your age and got into Jeeps with my first XJ, just got a TJ and found your channel, thanks for posting the videos and keep it up
bung cheese oh yea? Good stuff. I am 21. I love my TJ. I was wheeling my Comanche. Locked front and rear on 35s. My dad bought his TJ with open diffs, 3.07s and 33s and it did better than the Comanche. After that I was sold on the TJ. Now both of ours are decently built up and real capable. Of course I love the old XJs/MJs but the TJ is definitely more capable
Keeping it real by working out of a temporary/permanent garage....much respect.
Love this build
Hearing that rain would make me want to just lay down and take a nap
You’d never get anything done in WA state if you didn’t work in the rain! Lol
My hats off to you, great follow thru with a lot of work. I wanted to put a sb in my 91 yj someday but not now !!! Lol kidding

Can’t tell if he was trolling when he torqued the spark plug

Never put yourself between the hilift jack and the arm. Good way to get knocked the fuck out if shit doesnt workput perfectly. It happens.
