  • The Dacia Sandero offers a roomy cabin and competitive running costs for an amazingly low price.
    The Sandero is far from flawless, but it’s a likeable car that offers more space than anything else in the same price range. It demands compromises, but bearable ones given the price.
    What do you think of the Dacia Sandero? Let us know in the comments below!

    A very good company car! I personally own The Sandero Stepway full options with 0.9 TCE engine. The Stepway is a different car the Sandero.I think Stepway is the best Dacia by far.

    I might be Romanian, but please believe me when I say this: not everything in this right. 0.9 turbo is a stupid little engine, but the 1.5 with a manual has old charm. I bought a German car of this size expecting comfort and I didn't get it. My 2013 Polo also leans and has horrible suspension, particularly the crude rear bar (it is just a simple bar with springs). I also drove the Fiesta and it felt like the shocks were coming apart over big bumps.
    For the money, a Sandero 1.5 dCi is great

      The 1.2 is plenty powerful enough for town and a roads it does sound quite harsh at motorway speeds. Not that it bothers me mines been great so far. Just convinced my Grandad to buy the diesel version that's 4 Dacias in my family within 3 months.

    Own the ambiance 1.2 litre. Had it for 3 months now and done just over 2k miles its going back to the dealer on 14th july due to a clicking sound coming from the front left wheel this doesn't affect the cars drive at all. Drove it to Devon and back on a tank of fuel however motorway speeds are quite an unrefined experience. The engine is probably the worst thing about this car I wish I had gone for the tce or the dci instead. Its perfectly fine at low speeds but it tends to get very noisey above 3k rpm. However its the bombproof D4f sohc 16v unit supplied by renault so it'll run forever. Comfort is very good now the seats have somewhat bedded in and nothing has fallen off or broken being white means it requires a weekly clean but I have always cleaned my cars weekly anyway. Handling is very good once you get comfortable with the body roll it wallows around on the twisties but theres plenty of grip and the steering is pretty sharp a sports car this isn't tho.

    This was my first car and I had this for four years. She done me well but it was difficult to get it up hills at times. Twice there were difficulties with the horn which just stopped working and when looking online this seemed to be a theme. However as a first car with a family of four it really did do well.

    Just a simple romanian guy living in the UK here... What if I told you that there's a taxi driver in my local town that drives a Dacia Sandero 1.2 and he reached 999.999km? Not only that but he even claims that he only changed the usual stuff as Engine Oil, Filters and Timing Belt... He still drives it today. Now obviously it is more like a family car so you cannot compare it with sport cars (I would choose something faster really) but for it's price if you're aged enough I guess it's a perfect pick! (:

    Its honest car's. We bought a Dacia Logan MCV Laurete 1,5 dci (high equipment one). And i think it drives very well. The inside is fairly numb to be honest, but it all works and is laid out practically.
    It wouldent hurt with a bit more sound dampening from the engine.
    All in all, they're cheap and reliable, doesent break the bank, they are not amazing or luxurious. but thats not what they were intended to be

      Houses are really expensive in Europe. For 60k you can't even get a decent house in Poland.

    • @REPOMAN24722
      @REPOMAN24722 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You think Europe is expensive, try buying a house in Australia, you can't even get a decent house for $300,000 in Melbourne, you have to go 70km out and then its $260,000 for a average house and then you waste all your money on petrol to get to work and back, you got it easy in Europe.

      Ironically, houses inside the major cities of my country are the cheapest ones. But you'd be living in a 100% muslim neighborhood where nobody speaks your language and every fortnight, all the cars in the street are set on fire by 'youths'.

    This is the worst car i have ever had and i have bought many new car cars over the years. These cars are very poor in quality and poorly put together. My car had many issues with it such as knocking noises from the dashoard and a loud vibration coming from the engine area. There is also alot of vibration noises coming from all different places in the interior fittings. The car spent many days in the garage trying to get all sorts of issues fixed. Sold this rubbish car in the end. Its true what they say that you get what you pay for. Avoid Dacia cars and buy any other brand. Dont make the same mistake as me. You have been warned.
