That escape proof transfer method is defenatly a work of art, I would say it's between the best performance and the best contemporary dancing I have ever seen, far better than anything else. Emotion spikes, and calm, good ending, better than every disney movie 10/10.

Got out of the hobby about 20 years ago and I am just blown away at how far things have come. It took me 10 years of of hard work and heartbreaks to accumulate the knowledge that you cover in an hour of vids. For now I'm happy to live vicariously through you and your collection but I have a feeling that will not last long. Just way too much cool new stuff out there now. I always found it vary interesting to origins of the tarantulas and hade a large world map that I put a pin in. I think it may make a good visual if you can do something like that

I just recently started in the hobby. 2 years ago I'd have never thought I'd like Tarantulas, but now I love them. Beautiful creatures that need to be respected. I have a Pink Toe (A. Avicularia), and an Arizona (Desert) Blonde. I plan to get more as well! I'm glad for channels like Dark Den and Exotics Lair who have shown me how much personality T's can have!

Looks like Leucocoprinus birnbaumii which is harmless. But mushrooms are hard to identify and can be pretty poisonous. I would get rid of it just to be sure.

And yeah, not selling them at the moment, sorry. I'm still building up my own stock and I sell the rest to a local shop in bulk. Dealing with packing and sending packages all over europe is a but too much work for me at the moment. I might start selling them eventually and I will announce that on my channel.

I think the mushroom might be Leucocoprinus birnbaumii. For a human, if you eat a dozen of them, your stomach might be upset... Not really poisonous. But i don't know what the effects are on spiders :/

It needs to be said, I started watching your videos about two days ago or so when one of your videos was randomly recommended to me and I've been kinda marathoning everything on the channel since then. I'm actually really scared of spiders too but seeing you with them and how passionate you are kinda put me at ease about them, and hell, some of the tarantulas you have are actually really beautiful! Keep up the good work man.

You here too, Tom? Ha, love your videos. I wish I could send you some too, but sadly that's neither possible nor practical. These P. horrida are super exensive in the US for some reason (like $20 for one of the small nymphs), but there are other species of assassin bugs (Platymeris) that you could take a look at. You won't regret buying some, trust me :)

What a bunch of spiny little cuties! I have to try hard to like these guys, because I am allergic to our local assassin bugs, Triatoma rubida--the Sonoran kissing bugs. They sneak into your bedding at night and bite you, and their venom has local anesthetic in it so that you don't know you've been bitten until they have finished feeding. The bite swells up the size of a full dinner plate and becomes a horrible suppurating wound that doesn't heal for weeks or months and sometimes leaves an awful scar. Also, when I get bitten, every place I've ever BEEN bitten in the past breaks out into hives and my throat starts to close up. Pretty horrible! The cowboys named them kissing bugs, because they used to climb up on their bed rolls around their campfires and bite them on their lips and chins, the first part of them sticking out from under the blanket on cold desert nights. Hard to believe that such tiny little guys can wreak so much havoc!

You know what I realized the other day after watching this latest upload? I've never watched tarantula videos until I found this channel. I was (and am still a little) scared of larger bugs and crawly things. But because of this channel I decided to try to see how owning my own tarantula would go and if it would help me (or go terribly wrong). My first tarantula is a Brachypelma albopilosum, then soon to follow, I ordered a Acanthoscurria geniculata from Jaime's Tarantulas, since that was who you used for your give away. I figured if you thought they were ok to send to your viewers, they must be good. My tiny sling came happy and healthy two days ago. Then realized I now have a common affliction in this hobby, I need more, so I ordered a Caribena versicolor that should come sometime next week. Back to what I realized, when trying to describe my new pets to my friends I will say their common name and their proper name, but when I do that, I always say it with your accent! I'm a 30's something lady from New York, lol. You are the one I get most of my verbal information from, I do read, but it's not the same. Just thought I'd share that with you and thank you at the same time for what you do. Maybe I'll name one after you. You can pick the species. Thanks again!

Your Ybyrapora diversipes is exactly like mine in behaviour, not like Avicularia at all! Sometimes mine even tries to escape when I just try to feed it.
Also, you probably already know that but Avics sometimes only start webbing when they're about to molt so your Y. diversipes might just be in premolt. That's what mine did anyways, it molted a week or two after it made the web.
