    Great Video! And Real. Good job skipping the water propagation method so many "plantfluencers" and IG "plant experts" are perpetuating (that had never touched a houseplant until 2 years ago). It almost always fails once the rooted cutting is transferred to soil. We educate our customers on that with our 31 page "Adoption Manual" we send the when they order from us, and give them all the science research behind why it starts out good then fails. Great job on your large pothos in your other videos too! We have a video on our page of our giant pothos growing up a tree if you're into "pothos porn", ha ha. Very refreshing videos compared to the ones that seem more like they are a polished professionally staged and edited commercial for sugarless gum instead of a video about plants! ~ Clay

      Do you recommend perlite propagation for albo monstera? I just got a 2 leaf top cut and a 3rd baby leaf just unfurled I had to cut the other roots off that came with it. The seller had water propped it and they started to rot during shipping. It does still have an aerial root I’m not sure if it is going to rot as well but what is your opinion on the perlite propagation. I also have it under a GE seeds and Greens grow light fixture if that is relevant

    Hi I just want to say thank you much for making this video . I bought a cutting 3 weeks ago and I wasn’t sure how I wanted to propagated it. But I watched your video and I try it out :). Now my cutting is developing some roots now thanks to you ! Also do you have Instagram account so I can follow you ?

    Hi there! I recently bought the exact same cut, only that the stem without the leave is cut right next to the node, I was wondering where the new leaf will come from...

      the new leaf will often come right out of the stem without a leaf

    I'm having a hard time with the mini monsters you gave me. It feels like one part is dying but the other parts are okay

    Hi i just placed my top cutting with aerial root in perlite today but i left the end of the stem out. I just buried the aerial root. Do i have to place the albo in a humidity done like yours?

    • @florafantastica5135
      @florafantastica5135  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes this is typically a fine way of dealing with rot on the end of the stem...by cutting a hole in the pot for the stem to stick out so it stays dry. just be aware that the aerial root can rot, some people prefer to cut it off. good luck!!

      @@florafantastica5135 hi and yes the aerial root rotted. So i cut it and pour hydrogen peroxide on the body where the root was located. It is still out of perlite now to let it dry out. What should i do next? Root is gone now. Do i stick it back to perlite?

    Is the soil mix orchid and pearlite?
