Hell yeah, the review I'd been wanting since I saw it on sale for 75 cents a round at PSA. These videos and links are greatly appreciated. Thank you sir!
Interesting how those 5.56 aac are able to achieve max velocity out of a much shorter barrel than say a standard green tip 5.56. so running a shorter barrel seems like a nice ammo choice. But I would like a little more powder personally.

Other shooting videos I'd listen to with my earbuds- the shots would all sound like a generic shot; I was noticing the difference with the headphones because I haven't used them in awhile. What you said adds credence to what I heard though, I figured those things (except the coat, I wasn't thinking of where the mic was 👀) were effecting it
That shirt is awesome!
Amazon had it :)
Not bad. With mk262 mod 1 I am getting about 2680 fps out of my 16 inch AR and about 2730 out of my 18 inch "SPR" style build. However actually mk262 is stupid expensive lol
If you haven't done one yet, do you think you could test AAC 220 gr 300 blk?
I put in a request for 2 of their 300 BLK offerings, the other 5.56 offerings and the 124/147gr FMJ 9mm offerings!
@@BuffRANGE
Great. Looking forward to more great reviews!
Is this much different than their cheaper 77 grain offering?
I have severla boxes of it, but haven't been able to test it yet.
I am a little surprised at the lack of improved "ass" on that round stepping up from 20 to 22". Seems like it's all out of juice by 20 inches.
I'm not sure if you added the audio enhancements to the final take but I could hear the trigger let off on all the semi autos. And yeah the bullpup sucked!
The microphone pics them up very very well. When I wear a coat, it acts like a sound funnel and enhances the trigger reset :D
Good & informative video 👍
Thanks a lot
Shouldn't it be about 2750 out of 20 inch ? something is off
Yeah it definitely needs to be hotter.
How can I get that shirt? I love it and I've lived in the same community for 27 years. Everyone knows me and that shirt fits me better than it fits you I can promise!!!!!!
Amazon special. www.amazon.com/dp/B08VJ219ZX?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&customId=B07537HNZD
Just ordered couple when I saw these for $15
Hard to argue with it right now at that price.
I require 2500fps and 2700fps out of my 11.5" and 16" respectively. Terminal velocity AND accuracy are needed for an effective round.
Thnx
My pleasure!
This stuff rocks
Does any company out there specifically make 556 designated for short barrels? I guess reloaders can tweak but I was surprised that muzzle energy of 556 had so much spread!
Like 10.5' optimized loads? I've seen them before but I don't recall who has had them.
Hornady black SBR rounds are
Algo algo algo!!
Feed him!!
@@BuffRANGE mine gets hungry too lol
What mount is on your primary arms 3x prism? I’m looking for one similar to the factory with similar specs to 1.93 height with really good quality unlike the factory mount
ADM :) they make very excellent mounts.
I just wish they could keep it in stock
Charlies Custom Clones has mk262 in stock
If only I could buy 1 box, and not 2 min :(
@@BuffRANGE Think of it as an investment in your future. Lmao
Is AAC supposed to be the ammo plant that Palmetto was supposed to be setting up?
Yes. Well AAC is the ammo plant that the holding company that also owns PSA set up and is running :D
If you pop the irons off the rifle with the 3x prism and move the prism back you shouldn’t have eye relief issues. It’s an etched reticle, unless the optic gets blown up and the gun survives you’ll never need the irons 😁
Very true. Where I have it now has good eye relief. I tend to leave the irons on it, as I rob the 3X at the range a lot for other guns that don't have optics :D
@@BuffRANGE haha yeah that makes sense i didn’t think about swapping it around. I have the 1x version and love it! Was thinking about getting the 3x.
@@itsamk18-ish I love the Gen 2 1x!
@@BuffRANGE yeah it’s better than the gen1 in every way
Open tips are never Nato. The weight might also be a factor
Would the 69g SMK be better than the 77g for a 16" 1:9 twist?
Potentially if you have a slower 1:9 twist barrel. I have in the past shot 77gr without issue in my 16". Range was limited to 75-100 yards though.
@@BuffRANGE Thanks. Someone said on their channel that the 69g SMK was designed for 1:9. But I hadn't heard whether or not the 77g was designed for a specific twist rate.
Let me know when m995 or m855a1 is actually available and affordable. This ammo sucks comparatively imho
M855a1 would IMO be available some day. m995 not likely.
