I moved from Chandler 2 yrs ago. I lived in Reflections apt complex on Kyrene in between Ray and Chandler Blvd. When I first moved there I got the small 2 BR for $900 a month. I stayed in that apt from November of 2013 to March 2014. I then moved into a 3 BR cuz my daughter and grandsons were gonna stay with me. It was a gorgeous apt, I gotta say that. At first it was $1300. I lived there until October 2015. After my daughter got her house I moved back into a 2 BR cuz the rent was going up to $1500. The second 2 BR I got had a “courtyard view”, so the rent was $1150. I ended up moving to E Mesa (ugh!) in October of 2017 cuz the rent on the 2BR was going up AGAIN to $1400. However, if it wasn’t for the high ass rent, W Chandler and Ahwatukee are my favorite places in AZ (which isn’t saying much since out of all the states I’ve lived in, AZ is second from the bottom. I’d have to say KS was the worst). I moved here when my grandsons were little and needed the stability I was able to provide them. Now that they’re gonna be graduating HS soon, it’s time for me to move back to Detroit.....
Hate to say it but people from chandler dont think of kyrene and chamdler as chandler. I know its Chandler but to us it isnt . chandler was from the where 202 is now to warner and the 101 to copper. That was Chandler.

I actually just relocated here and I absolute love the area where I live I can’t get over all the beautiful scenery houses, apartments, stores, restaurants everything I need or want is less than 5 minutes drive time for me Thank you for sharing
I've lived in Ahwatukee, Avondale and Downtown Chandler. Its more expensive here for sure. There are two big reasons why I like Downtown Chandler. 1. Close to my work, 10min drive in rush hour traffic, only way to beat that is to work from home! 2. Living downtown let's me walk to the bars, restaurants and shops (I drink!) A DUI is ridiculous here in AZ. Walking let's me drink and keeps my chances of a DUI at 0%. I spend $1600 for a 1500 sqft townhouse that I purchased. You can get 2000 plus sqft a little further out for that price but for me living here is worth the bucks.
I owned a home for 6 years in Chandler. I was on the right side of the train tracks but too close for comfort lolz. I was real close to where you at in the beginning.
Thanks super, I like the nicer part of Chandler! Great video as usual. That home was nice but I think it’s too expensive too. Also I think I LIKE Litchfield and Goodyear better for me

I think you are gonna be good. Hilarious so far. I'm Irish-American and I notice you are not sweating, that's good cause we all know how hot that hell hole is. Poor things. I lived in hell heat in Perris, CA. We had ac on 24/7. Been there, did that. Hah. A great presentation, great work. I never knew or saw a regular neighborhood in AZ with neighborhood kinda trees and all. Very cool, wow! See u in the next video. Peace. Jeanie Oh yes Happy Halloween and Happy All Saint's Day tomorrow on Nov.1st. Let's all pray and remember out Saint's that have gone before and some who are here now.
I retired 2 months ago and spent the day looking at apartments in Chandler. Chandler is a good 1st place to relocate but eventually I would move because the price keeps going up for apartments and homes. Not the best value for Arizona
Yes prices have gone up recently because the pace of construction is not keeping up with demand. Eventually it will go back down. People who bought a home in Chandler before 2017 made a great investment.
Chandler's spread out, it has it's different areas. Not just a mall :) I need to go back to the Valley. Everytime I watch one of your videos, I get home sick. Here in L.A 1400 sq ft goes for $870,000 in a so so neighborhood.
Chandler is a very nice city to live in ....downfault for me as I've been here since just before the mall was built is the growth. So many housing developments constantly going up it's looking and feeling crowded and cost of housing is going up along with it. I plan to hopefully move out to Gilbert in hopes that it won't get crowded. Also that stretch of az ave that you were on is very sketchy but it's a work in progress.
I grew up on W. Pecos Rd On corner of S. Palm Ln n Kesler Ln. I’m a Native San Carlos Apache. I use to go to San Marcos Elementary School there in chandler
I grew up in Apache junction, My two favorite places to go for the weekend are Strawberry and Bisbee.. It's good to get out of the valley of the sun for some fun.
Born at Mesa Lutheran in early 70's. Valley Lutheran had not been built. Lived on 104th Pl. It was all dirt. And my father took his shotgun to the cat fight outside its bedroom window, hence the dead cats. We moved in 1979 to Chandler where I went to school. Street still not paved in the early 2000s.
I moved to Chandler in 2006 and it has definitely gotten more crowded since then. Large corporations and companies are setting up their customer service centers here in Chandler because there’s still a lot of rural land where they can actually built their buildings from the ground, up! And, Arizona doesn’t have major weather like in other parts of the country. I’ve worked for call centers here in Chandler where other call center’s for the same company, had to temporarily close because of weather. The new apartments being build are too expensive and cater to executives of the large companies coming into town. And that makes older complexes raise their prices too. The criminal element and illegal drug use has definitely taken over the city as well. I loved it when I first moved here 14 years ago. Not so much anymore. I will be leaving the valley in the next few months.
I work for a call center and agree that the valley is call center central. I moved to Chandler in 2013 & stayed in the same apartment 10 years. The service declined and price went up from $750 - $1600 for the same unit without upgrades. I left the valley where it's quieter like Chandler was and pay $1200 for a 2 bed 2 bath built in 2022. I miss what Chandler had to offer before the price increases and population growth. I don't know how people at call centers are affording to live in the valley anymore.
Ima truck driver from Compton Cali one time I drove through like the downtown area of chandler at like 2 am that shit was active, gang members out sippin on 40s on every corner
I've lived in Chandler before the Chandler Mall and before the express way was built. People keep moving hereeeeeee! I had cows as neighbors and now I have rude people from other states. My house is paid off because it was only $96,000 when I purchased it. Now it's worth about $320,000. The reason for the high home prices is people coming from all over to live here because $300,000 is a steal for someone coming from NY or Cali. During the winter when the snowbirds arrive the golf course snub the people who support them during the scorching summer months by upping the green fees for a round of golf!
Thank us rude people from other states for the increase in you home’s value. Also, the increase in fees is more about the increase in demand. Not everyone wants to swing a club when it’s 120 degrees out.
@@wm1779 you are correct they are VERY rude! They move here thinking they have the right to dictate to the Natives who've lived here all of our lives. Sounds like some Christopher Columbus stuff. As for golf you should've said " If you are a living in Arizona the courses should maybe give a discount especially if you support the courses during the hot summer months." But nope your privilege wants me to THANK YOU LOL!!!!! You drove up the prices on the homes now the people living here can't afford a home that's gone up triple the price with bidding wars. I was doing just fine before you arrived and will do fine when you leave. The people who move to Arizona with a good attitude.......great to have you in Arizona.
Well I plan on coming from Ohio sis 😂😂😂😂 BUT I feel your pain. I live in Sandusky, the home of Cedar Point the amusement park, and when I tell you they do us locals So dirty during the summer. No dollar menus at the fast food spots, gas sky high, hotel rooms and attractions are ridiculously high, but baby once they leave during the Fall/Winter it is us, the locals, that have to keep everything afloat. I won’t even get started on Bike Week. I promise to be a good neighbor wherever I go because rich people are coming here buying up everything to the point that we can’t really afford to rent the few homes we do have here.
The problems they're running from, their bringing it here. I'm sure they feel the housing market is way cheap and obtainable, compared to what they are accustom too. Over priced California housing market and taxation.
The majority of Chandler is really nice. I used to live in this neighborhood. Not a lot of money but I never had problems with the people. Head south of the freeway and you wont believe you are in the same city.
Hey! I finally moved here from sh!tty ass Sahuarita/Tucson... but I'm from CT. I LOVE CHANDLER! I FEEL AT HOME! Now I live Ocitillo until we find our house but I can walk to the grocery store, Walgreens or to get my nails did. I take the Waymo everywhere else primarily. All my doctors are minutes away. My kids school's phenomenal! Wayyyyyyy better then Tucson schools. If I walk the other way it's nothing but lakefront properties, ducks, parks, beautiful waterfalls & greenery. I finally feel at home. In Tuc, I was ready to give up & go back east. And throw 17 in the TRASH! How tf you have a place with that many ppl driving on a 2 lane highway everyday???
I went to Chandler like 3yrs ago and i didnt see this side of it though ....i think its time for me to take a day and go riding around again lol. For 350,000 you can get a mini mansion with more than 2000 sq ft in Minnesota so no I wouldn't pay that👎🏾but it was a nice house though.......Thanks Big Super🤗
I was born and raised in Chandler, Az but have been living in mesa for 24 years. Chandler is way more expensive for what you can get in mesa. I think the only cities i would live in az is mesa, Gilbert, or Chandler but I'm here to stay in mesa. I was a little reluctant to move back to Chandler because it was getting too big for me. We got lucky to buy our house in mesa in 2012 when prices were good and a good neighborhood.

You must live across the street from the post office. hahahaha.
What’s up, bro? New subscriber here. Appreciate the videos you make about our wonderful state of Arizona. Keep up the good work 👊
Thanks Bro
Big Super Living In Arizona
No problem
big super living , love the program . how about showing some starter homes . please , please . peace
I just visited Chandler last week looking at places, and I absolutely loved it. But... was a little expensive...
People from California just stay in cali please. Don't ruin Az!!
That's what Californians have been saying to all the other states
Well the way Arizona looks, it's already ruined amigo 👍
Too late.
@@lentonasty3356 people are fleeing California like it has the plague.
To late
That house was beautiful.....tfs 😊😊....will be out there in 2weeks can't wait
I owned a home for 6 years in Chandler. I was on the right side of the train tracks but too close for comfort lolz. I was real close to where you at in the beginning.
Thanks super, I like the nicer part of Chandler! Great video as usual. That home was nice but I think it’s too expensive too. Also I think I LIKE Litchfield and Goodyear better for me
I live in Chandler. I love it!
How long have you lived in Chandler? We’re looking to move there this fall!! We live in the Midwest. Tired of winters and allergies! Any tips would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️
Great channel bro! Keep up the content! Wish I would've knew about your channel before I moved out here to Phx.
Thanks for watching.
A proud Chandler resident here!! No plan on living anywhere else but Chandler 👍 best life ever!!😀😀😀😀 thank you bro!!
That was my local store. I'm gonna see you one of these days it's gonna be cool
I’m a Arizona native grew up SSC a lot of my dads side of familia still there… Martinez , Castillo, Valenzuela, Hernandez - I lived on Dakota st by chandler high when I was a kid then moved to palm lane off Frye and az Ave . So crazy I came across this video
You literally went down My St., Galveston. I came from California six years ago. I live at the Chandler Village Apartments. For a two bedroom it’s two years studios three and four are somewhere around for years to get in on a waiting list.
That's funny I am out here from California visiting my sister who lives on that street
I live there rn lol
Thank you Soop for another awesome thorough video! I was looking at Chandler on my first visit but I never knew the portion you showed. Now does the light rail go into Chandler?
No light rail in Chandler.
Mark Vanderlee thank you, God bless you
I think you are gonna be good.
I love chandler it’s a city that’s growing with us
Thanks for the video. Would like to see a video on mobile home resort parks for older retired people.
Me too!
I think there's one by saddle mountain
Hoping to meet you in person Sir, We are taking a trip to Chandler in the last week of September this year.
I'm a Realtor now. Let me know if need to see any homes you may be interested in purchasing.
People who bought a home in Chandler before 2017 made a great investment.
... and the best or better place might be?
What would you consider a better place?
@@martywilsonlife a place suited more for retirees. Chandler prices are higher than other Arizona cities within a 15 mile radius.
Herbert Walker Chandler is ideal for families
That was fun! Thank You, and be blessed.
Living in Canada now but I graduated from Chandler High back in 93. I miss the Valley of the Sun!
Chandler's spread out, it has it's different areas. Not just a mall :) I need to go back to the Valley. Everytime I watch one of your videos, I get home sick. Here in L.A 1400 sq ft goes for $870,000 in a so so neighborhood.
Wow! That's expensive.
Ive lived in chandler for about 3 years, and not gonna lie, some parts are bad but my area has a ton of great schools, and great people.
I love your videos, Big Super!
Big thanks
Nice video bro I live like half a mile by chandler high damn you took a decent mob bro good stuff
I grew up on W. Pecos Rd On corner of S. Palm Ln n Kesler Ln. I’m a Native San Carlos Apache. I use to go to San Marcos Elementary School there in chandler
I grew up in Apache junction,
My two favorite places to go for the weekend are Strawberry and Bisbee..
It's good to get out of the valley of the sun for some fun.
You admit from being from AJ? Good God! I keep that particular detail to myself. Dirt town, dirt house, just dirt and dead cats.
@@colctywi i grew up there in the 1970s it wasn't like that then..
Man, you were all around me. Hamilton, Galveston, Chandler Blvd, McQueen. Down town Chandler rocks.
Same
I moved to Chandler in 2006 and it has definitely gotten more crowded since then.
@@chuckscott4661 yes
@@chuckscott4661 not in AZ. Most of the time they were other call centers in the East where it snowed a lot.
It's just like you said: so many people are moving in to the area. It's driving the prices up not only for homes but also for apartments.
Happy New Year!
thanks. Happy New Year
Ima truck driver from Compton Cali one time I drove through like the downtown area of chandler at like 2 am that shit was active, gang members out sippin on 40s on every corner
🤣 OK
@@celissetcf2878 what
I've lived in Chandler before the Chandler Mall and before the express way was built.
Your equity is a gold mine, that is amazing!
@@shawnareynolds4389Come on down and you better hurry because the prices are sky rocketing . They are building like crazy.
And the reason the prices are so damn high I'd the California 'people's moving here.
... Californication.
The problems they're running from, their bringing it here. I'm sure they feel the housing market is way cheap and obtainable, compared to what they are accustom too. Over priced California housing market and taxation.

@SAPO LOKO bro I'm from San Diego thinking about moving Chandler area my friend paying 1400 for 4 bed room shit I'm paying 1200 one bed room🙄
Pls stop blaming California people.

Hey Big super Im on my way to Chandler Arizona right now!
I'm from Benson. I love Arizona. Thanks for your videos.
Thanks for watching!
The majority of Chandler is really nice. I used to live in this neighborhood. Not a lot of money but I never had problems with the people. Head south of the freeway and you wont believe you are in the same city.
You should do a video on Ahwatukee and the 202 extension
Josh Willson yes do Ahwatukee!
Older doesnt always mean bad...PHX metro is known for nice and new but its nothing wrong with older neighborhoods imo
I work at Chandler and I loved this city.
Thank you. Very informative.
Hey thats my city. Love Chandler AZ. :)
Drove through Chandler last night and it was nice didn't see no tweekers
I'm coming out there soon! I've made up my mind! Speaking it into existence! 💖🙏🏽
Quality. I appreciate that.
Interesting facts about Chandler, I learned a lot!
So where would you day would be a good neighborhood to live in?
It is $400k in Chandler because it is $2+ million in San Jose.
